If we do decide to sign any of these players, how will the transfer fee be decided? I mean... Let's say they are worth 5m so if we decide to buy one of them, we'd have to pay 2.5m yeah? Well what if they say that they won't sell the player to us for less than 10m (so we'd end up paying 5m anyway) Sorry.. I'm not very clear on how this works

I don't understand how Rajko getting a work permit can justify selling Alex. Rajko has no experience in the prem and even though he is a promising prospect, you can't rely on him right now. JT is ageing and Luiz has looked shaky (excellent buy but proved that he needs to work on some things). So that leaves Bran. Selling Alex would be ridiculous imo and we shouldn't consider it at all.

^ I agree. When AVB said that he was going to evaluate the squad during the Asia trip, I felt confident that he would realize how useless anelka, malouda and especially kalou are. That Man City team is pretty scary looking. Except for that awful defence of course. But if they sign Sneijder (I doubt it'll happen tho) just imagine Nasri, Silva and Sneijder linking up and providing balls to Aguero while at the same time getting 5-10 goals themselves

Yes, I know what you mean... but we will definitely improve this season (cause next season a lot of them are going to leave and hence we will get replacements) if: 1) AVB can get Torres going again consistently, 2) We sign Modric and/or let McEachren play more instead of Lampard, 3) AVB gives Sturridge more chances and not just play Malouda and Anelka every single game despite the form like what Carlo was doing last season And I think AVB has the ability to motivate the players in a way that Carlo never did. I don't know... I'm just optimistic after seeing how AVB has been handling the football side of things since he took over
