  1. City don't have a buyback clause. All they have is the opportunity to match any bid made for the player made by another club, but even then the player would need to agree to return.
  2. Willian is probably above Pulisic and CHO in the pecking order.
  3. Why would any young academy prospect show loyalty to Chelsea when Chelsea shows no loyalty to them? The club can't even bring itself to be a meritocracy, never mind a place that takes a chance on them.
  4. He actually had his hand up to shake Pulisic's hand but just Sancho just grabbed it and hugged him instead. https://twitter.com/SoccerAM/status/1063793885074345984
  5. He needs to leave one way or another. He clearly has the physicality and the technical ability to play in the men's game.
  6. Just scored another against Oldham.

  8. It's baffling to me that people are on board with this deal. An absolutely horrible loan move for a player that has already proved he is above this level of football and, as per usual with Chelsea, will waste a year of his development grinding away in a clogger league that will teach him and Chelsea next to nothing.
  9. For someone who apparently struggles to complete ninety minutes he does seem to do it quite often...
  10. I wouldn't read too much into his goal tally at Vitesse. He was highly rated in the Netherlands during his time there. Still only 18 remember.
  11. It was a 4-3-3 with Baker as a false #9 and RLC the most advanced midfielder.

  13. Hiddink interim and then Simeone next season. I don't see Guardiola choosing Chelsea if the United job is available, not unless he really wants to live in London.
  14. Is that even a controversial opinion at this point? I think most people expect Liverpool or Spurs to get fourth spot this season.
  15. Is it truly that Mourinho believes he isn't capable though, or is it that he is simply too cowardly to take the risk?
  16. He scored against Germany U19 after we'd gone down to 10 men.
  17. The money you pay for one player versus three or four is irrelevant. You have x amount to spend on what you need in the transfer window and if you get that for 30-something million in today's market then that's job done. Whether you think Stones is worth the money on his own is neither here nor there, it's about getting what you need when you need it, much like City did with Sterling.
  18. He's looked more physically imposing I think, but that's about it. He gives away a lot of fouls and his passing leaves a lot to be desired. I would be very surprised if Mourinho chose Zouma to partner Terry or Cahill over Stones should he sign. Besides, given the age of Terry and Cahill, Mourinho probably has his eye on a future Zouma/Stones partnership anyway. Personally I think though that Chelsea will not compromise their position on getting value for money, and will end up losing him to United, assuming they need him come the end of the window.
