Fortunately here the impact was minimal. As far as I know, the epicentre was 10 kms underneath the ground, and still the richer scale recorded a 7.7 magnitude. That is huge and had the epicentre not been so deep the damage would have been immeasurable. There have been 20 something earthquakes around the northern part of India and Pakistan in the past year or so, most of them mild. I just hope there is nothing big coming because something is definitely going wrong underneath. Stay safe Mufassir and thoughts with the people who lost their lives. Nature is scary.
