our team wasnt ready for this game. Their passion hit us like a speeding train and then all hell broke loose. Robbed.... Chris Foy must have a look at himself.... at times certain referees seem to root for smaller teams i think cuz they feel this is a good chance to take out pent up frustration of pressure always by big teams... This guy is a joke. Drogba was a joke...before and after the red card.... come on man.... people used to and probably still buy shirts with your name on it.... dont insult them by playing like that. We really should lodge a complaint against this referee.... If not .... I want AVB to come out and say " THE REF ROBBED US".... Totally agree with all of you here, however its QPR so it might be a good game for lukaku to get a goal and confidence. Thats why i wrote his name. i dont think him being a sub every once in a while will really help him....however starting a game like this will be great for him..... if he is not working we can always substitute him after 60 mins with drogs or play both together. Lampard is still not at his best and with meireles mata sturridge ramires and whichever DM you choose competition is huge.... he is improving due to pressure to play faster and better.... The thing with Lampard is that he is a true blue and plays with emotion and passion, so i am secretly rooting for him but the dilemma of younger players like romeu.... he looks gooood but will hardly every get a chance to play if we dont start fast tracking our older players the way scholes etc were for manu... in a graceful manner... Look, the way i see it.... this season is a transition year for us.... if we dont win anything AVB probably will NOT be fired.... but for this transition to take place, we as fans also have to accept that DD and Lampard will slowly have roles that are very different, i.e. not starters always.... It is then that these very promising youngsters will thrive in a team such as ours... My view.

TBH, the game had its moments but was otherwise quite a dull affair..... Positives were that we beat our bogey team after 6 years or so, we now know that no matter what, someone somewhere will score. One big change Solo Malouda for Team player mata .,,,,without malouda we are gold.(no disrespect) Sturridge will become a legend,,,,very professional player,,,,he values every minute on the pitch as he has earnt his place in the starting 11.... Lampard and Mikel are both great players. However, please dont play them both in the same team together. Change either of them, preferably Mikel....I say this is i noticed that lamps slows down his game while playing with mikel. Mikel is awesomeness but sometimes i feel he is like a computer program. If Essien can do the same job and still come ahead,score sometimes and make defense splitting balls, why cant mikel even show signs he is becoming better at any of them? Ashley cole was solid... but the less i say about drogba the better. I watched heskey play before our match , and after our match i felt heskey played better than drogba.... however class is permanent,,,i just hope he is not unhappy or lacks motivation after becoming our second choice striker.... I think Drogba wasnt too effective simply because since AVB has come, our style has changed and its more of ground passes rather than flighted ones that drogba used to love..... Our football is alot faster as a result of that but i dont think drogba is suited to that style of play....However he still is quality and will score goals... but he might have to modify his style of play a bit to fit in to this new outlook to our attack. Lampard seems to have got exactly what he needed by being dropped to the bench for those 3-4 matches. Players tend to get stale and complacent at times as they grow older.....not that they do it intentionally but it happens.... Lampards minutes at the bench must have given him alot of time to think as well as re ingnite the hunger of forward passing and good runs in the box to score.... starting 11 does not come for free...He learnt that and will now prove it at every chance he gets... David Luiz is too good.... just to see him pissed off when someone passed the ball back to the goalie instead of moving it ahead was refreshing.... It is too easy to pass it back unnecessarily, and he made sure the person who did that knew that a back pass to the goalie many times does not add momentum to your game...(granted some times the ball has to be passed back) However, i do have one complaint,..... which is specific to Chelsea, among other top teams..... Everytime we tend to go up by 2-3 goals....we just think the game is over and start treating the game like a practice game.... Why not go for more and more goals in the same fashion as the last 2-3 goals were scored.... Our speed pf penetration drops significantly, which should not happen.(Its like scoring with a hottie...u give all effort to get her into bed....but once you've got her there...give it a pounding..,,not be happy uve scored and fuck like an old man simply cuz uve scored!) Dont injure yourself.... but still go for it with the same intensity... Good game to watch, AVB's subs were fantastic as Bolton looked very good(2nd hf), reminding me of a certain newcastle arsenal game.... Why do international weeks happen so often? Or instead of 2 weeks make it 10 days....meaning instead of playing next to next weekend, Chelsea would play on wednesday after the international weekend.....2 weeks is too long.

Now with Mata and Meireles, our play is faster smoother and more penetrating. So this is the moment that a partnership of EPIC proportions develops....both players settled....team style changed....confidence restored.... friendship's stronger....Torres and Drogba i am sure will be able to play together now and well.... iF CL and PL are even thinkable....this is the partnership to make it happen... Could not agree more with you. He is OK for an 18 year old. Much more effective than Mikel. If i make that statement then that means hes good....so a little confused about him. Also Lukaku, has the pace and ability to hold up the ball but his crossing and shooting abililty seem to be anderlecht quality.....long way to go before he becomes chelsea class( open header which hit his shoulder....lol and a couple of more instances) Bertrand is not at all chelsea class, however old he is and even though people think he will mature.
