Nice guy, but when Torres leaves this MUST be played at the bridge:
-
A horrid performance from the TEAM all round but it was in games like today where one big man like Drogba, or Lampard would pop up and get the crucial goal. We need some potency up front, complain about Torres's service all you like a good striker will make room for himself and get his head into the game. January can't come soon enough...

These Fox commentators are ridiculously bad.

Haha: Obviously, Benitez strategy to silence the fans is to bore them to sleep with dull football."

Walcott and Sagna have been left out of Arsenal's 2013 calender.

Yeh lol, look at the reaction on Skysports:

Being very strongly tipped for City, would be a travesty if he ends up going there and wasting his talent. Comes from Dinamo like Modric, but at 16 is really setting the Prva HNL on fire. He played PSG making him the youngest player to ever play in the champions league.

Falcao is just an amazing player, I'm still dreaming of the possibility of him playing in front of Mata, Hazard and Oscar.

FT AC MILAN 1-0 JUVENTUS. Nice to see Milan get such a big win.

Guillem Balague In favour of Roman Abramovich I can see kicking Roman Abramovich is one of Britain’s favorite sports. He has a lot that makes him an easy target but I won’t get there now. Instead let me tell you why I think he should have a much easier ride 1. His money has helped the football wheel go round 2. In July, he gave Torres the word that he will allow him to proof he is still worthy of leading Chelsea’s attack even though Falcao was offered to him all summer, including few hours before the European Supercup where the Colombian scored a hat trick against Chelsea. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but basically he was giving one of his big assets a chance before deciding what to do with him if it didn’t work 3. Roman knows about football. Enough to identify who should lead the team on the pitch and the offices. Like Michael Emanelo, who is de facto technical secretary of the club and one with an intelligent understanding of the game. Michael and Rafa will find common ground I am sure 4. If Roman wants to run the club on his own he wouldn’t have given it to José Mourinho. So now he is basically looking for someone who can do that job and he has not been convinced by the ones he gave the job to lately. 5. Finally, by choosing Rafa Benítez, a man universally respected inside the world of football, he has ignored the noises coming from the fans. I thought Roman was scared of the fans. Well, actually he must have thought, I tell you what, I have analysed the situation and Rafa is a good solution. No matter what people think. Good I think Rafa will be in charge for longer that people think. 7 minutes ago Disagree with last part though.

Geoff Shreeves is just awful. Imagine if he interviewed Hatton last night?

"Your friend Benitez is going to Chelsea," the Brazilian said to Mourinho, according to La Sexta. The 49-year-old responded: "The fat one? Well then Materazzi should be his assistant." Here is a video:

I just want to get this season done ( I reckon he'll do alright but not necessarily better than Di Matteo would of) and am both hoping and praying we get this guy below to take us forward: The crucial word being forward. Many were still debating that question, and with the 2 year deal in place there was only going to be one answer. These circumstances and the earliness of the parting do make it a very hard and bitter pill to swallow nonetheless. In the future though Pep can possibly get us playing that tika-taka style Abramovich yearns and will instantly command the respect of the dressing room. The prospect of Pep nurturing our trio is very tantalising.

Mourinho just had an interview question about us, saying he still supports us, saying he will support the the club but never mentioned Benitiz's name.

Rumours going around that Jurgen Klopp is on Abramovich's shortlist too, Dortmund manager for those who don't know. He's got such a secure job, doubt he'd even consider us.
