First of all, thinking that we will advance by just defending the whole game is absolute madness. We defended our ASSSES off at SB and lets not forget that they had some really good oppurtunities to score, the one which touched the bar for instantly or the one that Cole saved just in time. We have to count on Barca to score, and that would mean we need to aswell. Chelsea needs to score a goal in the first half and then just do what we did the first game. To enable this my choice of formation is easy: In the opening stages of the match, untill we score: Cech Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Cole Mikel - Lampard Ramires - Mata - Kalou Drogba Once we've scored/final stages of the game: Cech Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Cole Ramires - Luiz (if fit)/Essien/Romeu - Mikel - Lampard Drogba - Kalou (There's always the choice of subbing Meireles for Kalou and do 4-5-1)

Cech Iva - Cahill - Terry - Bertrand Essien - Meireles Sturridge - Mata - Kalou Drogba (Torres to come on after Drogba's scored and around the 65th minute.)

This will indeed be 2 very difficult games but I do believe Chelsea has what it takes to advance considering what we've seen these past weeks with Chelsea in RDM's hands. Also a HUGE motivation for the senior players is revenge against Barca for when we got robbed. With the first game at Stamford Bridge I think CHelsea needs to play very offensive because going to Camp Nou with 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 or something like that is NOT good. I would like to see the following formation: Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard Mata Sturridge - Drogba With that formation we would have the option to play the ball around and have a quick and technical player in the box AND the option to play long balls on Drogba. I would love to see Torres in this game but im not sure if he would be the better choice WITH drogba because I cannot see Drogba NOT starting this...and he should indeed start. But for the LOVE OF GOD just keep Malouda, Kalou and Bosingwa out of this game whatever happens...

Whats the matter? Let me tell you, they are fucking OVERPAID. If these cunts were playing for the survival of their family they wouldnt play like brainless idiots such as Mikel, Kalou etc. They need a fucking slap in the face

Everytime I see Chelsea playing like a League One team and think about that some of those players earn like £100,000 a week, I get fucking sick. I mean, did they HONESTLY think 0-1 against Fulham with that presure is gonna be good? God damnit. And Torres, I hope he breaks his leg so we dont have to see him on the pitch anymore.. And winning this game, say 0-2 would put us at 3rd place....pathetic

Sturridge will never work in a striker companionship, so yall can just forget him in that equation. UNLESS he becomes less selfish and works on assists more. Possibly, in the future, Torres+Lukaku. Or Torres and some new signing.

Formation-wise there is only one choice if we want to beat them: Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Ramires - Essien - Lampard Sturridge - Mata Drogba its not the time to experiment but i would love to see: Cech Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Cole Luiz Ramires - Lampard Mata Sturridge - Drogba (Torres - Drogba) The key to beating Barca is to play solid defensively throughout 180 minutes. One small mistake will cost us a goal for sure. The reason I suggest Luiz as DM is because i think he has the speed to handle Messi as Mikel and Essien does not. Plus we would have the defensive strenght needed and we need to use quick attacking and not try to play their game. We can both pass the ball and run quick with Ramires/Sturridge on the pitch and also use long balls from Luiz etc on Drogba. If we get a good result on Stamford Bridge, say 1-0, 2-0, 3-1..then we've got a good chance of getting our beloved revenge!

Remember where you heared it. I really think it's our time now. Odds are highly against us and we tend to perform better as "underdogs". We had a real dip in the form and thinks looked horrible but the tide has turned now. The spirit in the team is better, we are starting to deliver and play as a team, Torres seems to get back into form and everything just feels right. Also, for some of the senior players this might be the last chance to finally get that CL title. I think most still hav nightmares after the Barca game but mostly after losing to man utd in the finals. At the very least we WILL make it to the finals and I do actually pray that Barca beat Milan because that revenge would be SO SWEET! And to all of you suckers who for some reason just love to be negative, you are no real fans. A real fan stand by their team in better and worse and never lose faith. I disagree. I think that is exacly what he should do, because that is what he does best and that is what we need. We need a striker who is technical and can dribble past defenders and get into the box.

We need to play Sturridge and Torres up infront of Mata. The key to beat City is with fast counters and we need Torres/Sturridge's quickness and technique in the box. City defenders are big lads and wont keep up with them. Because people critisize Sturridge more than Torres. And looking at the statistics, experince and pay-check it's stuipid. Oh come on. He scores. That's good enough for me. Sure he could pass the ball some more, but then again that's not what he does best. Sturridge needs to play as CF or in a striker-companionship and not out on the wing.

Stop talking shit about Sturridge. Yeah he can be somewhat selfish sometimes. So what? He scores, he's technical, he gets into the box and behind the oppositions defenders and is very dangerous. He's still young and he's very hungry. It's only natural that he's abit selfish considering that he's naturally a CF and not a winger.

For the City game. EDIT: 1) Sturridge in around the 70th if needed. 2) Meireles could/should be subbed in aswell, he did a good game today even if I hate the guy,.

Ya'll been saying that for the last 20 matches. Torres wont EVER get back to his old form in Chelsea. Never EVER. He might score now and then but we wont see him shine again. There is something very wrong with that guy. I used to love him, but ive growed to absolutley hate the guy. What the hell does he want? What's his problem? I definatley think Chelsea should get rid of him this summer..
