If we are going with 4-2-3-1 we will have serious problems in the double pivot. This area seems to be completley overlooked in this transfer window UNLESS Oscar is intended to play there. If he isnt, and we are stuck with Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Meireles there we struggle. Our buildup play sucks bigtime and its not like the defensive capability there is awesome. Are we after any player who could fit there at all? Someone like Modric...Who's available? Sahin? Do you guys think Oscar will be used as DM in the double pivot? Is he able to play there?

Isnt it more important to be disciplined as CB? Isnt DM a position where one should be more offensive minded than as CB? You are talking as if the CB position is less important than DM. And isnt the last thing we need in the double pivot MIkel+Lampard? Dont get me wrong, Luiz DM wont happen but when discussing it you at least have to look at it the right way.

Well, I actually agree that Luiz would be much better suited as DM than CB, and even if that wont happen, it is clear by the way he plays. Not only that, but that type of player in the double pivot would be awesome for us. We are really struggling in that area where i feel that both the defensive abilities there lack but mostly the buildup play. Why not? And why would any of them rot on the bench? We had Drogba and Torres last season and none of them really rotted on the bench. Look at other teams. Do you really think that with Lukaku on loan that we will go with just Torres and Sturridge? Honestly ive got twice the trust in Sturridge compared with Torres atm. Dont get me wrong, I love Torres but to give him that trust and expect him to do "a Drogba" for us in the season is being too optimistic.

Who actually gives a shit about what Torres "wants"? Torres is not special in any bloody way. If he cant handle competition he should just throw in his towel. I have mixed feelings about this. While Cavani would be a friggin awesome addition it would mean less or no playtime for Danny as CF.
