  1. Injustice aside, I hope Tuchel keeps it in check. The last thing we want is a cuntish FA banning him for matches because of a post match rant. Does the red card mean that he get's a touchline ban for the next game or 2?
  2. Also, the past 2 games are making me wonder why we went for Sterling instead of Jesus. Don't get me wrong, he's a fine addition to the squad - but he's being wasted in a false 9 role. If we wanted a center forward who could link up play well and also score, why not go for the latter? Unless the plan is still to bring in a goal-scorer, I don't know.
  3. Jorginho played very well. Not sure what you are on about. He made a mistake in the corner, but the real problem was the fact that we couldn't finish. Anthony Taylor has become more clever in these games. He gives things our way at the start and when the game reaches crunch decisive stages, he start bringing out his worst.
  4. 6 extra mins in 2nd half, 5 mins in first half, hardly any cards for the cuntish Spurs players, a bent referee., a biased NBC coverage .... what a fucking cunthole of a game. Spurs and their supporters, and that spitting donkey Carragher can go burn.
  5. If we got him to play LCB, Koulibaly could easily be moved to the right.
  6. Skriniar, Ndicka, off the top of my head.
  7. That's concerning. Especially if we really are planning to break the transfer record just to get him. Again, have to wonder why we aren't linked with other alternatives for CB.
  8. Not that mind boggling. It's probably an as exciting time time as ever to be at Barca. Xavi is the manager, with a seemingly working philosophy, and by hook or crook, he's building a competitive squad. No player gives a shit about the fans. If that were the case, Sterling would refuse to join us. The salary is a sticky point, but as long as Xavi and the Barca board convince him that all issues will be resolved, then why would they protest?
  9. He was a different player then, though. The current version, I'm not sure about. Especially the one that was at Arsenal in his last season.
  10. We fought off Ake this season. Can we fend off Aubameyang too?
  11. That back 3 worked against Everton, but not sure against Spurs. They have more pace in their ranks, and if Conte sets up to counter (likely) they will get exploited. With Rudiger we were spoilt with his recovery pace. Azpi Silva Koulibaly is another matter. A second CB like Fofana would have come in handy here. Either that, or sacrifice James to play him as RCB. And rely on Cucurella for WB attacking threat.
  12. Seems like the EFL cup is still on for this year (no surprises there)? Wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
  13. Still find it weird that we never even took a stab at Skriniar. Is it because of his age? Maybe Tuchel wanted one really young CB since we have Koulibaly and Silva. Or just his playing style.
  14. So ironic that in 2021 we ended up paying twice the amount that City signed Haaland for, to get Lukaku.
  15. You want Bielsa instead of Tuchel because you think our defense will be fine by just having quality players? I guess you've forgotten how Lampards Chelsea leaked 4 to 5 goals a game with the same defense Tuchel inherited. Or how Bielsa's Leeds leaked goals for fun.
  16. Didier Drogba agrees. Oh how we miss a player like that.
  17. Chillwell deserves more credit for what he did today, despite lacking match fitness. He also won the penalty for this game. Having said that, Cucurella is first choice to start our next game for sure. Great debut.
  18. Considering what happened to Koulibaly and Silva in this match, its no wonder why we need to go in for a 2nd quality CB this window. At their age, coupled with the loss of Colwill, we could face big problems without adequate replacements.
  19. Does Kovacic need to remind Tuchel that he still plays here? Anyway. Only complaint for me. Winning against Everton away and starting the season with a win is massive. Hope Kouliabaly just had cramps.
  20. Mourinho is right. There is always an agenda against Chelsea Even Pep has admitted as such. The red brigade is green with envy.
  21. Another hit piece by DM who have been relentless since the club became up for sale. And right before our first match. Read through the article and you'll see it's all baseless speculation and conjecture. The PL itself did a litmus test. What more needs to be said?
  22. So...maybe just wait for a year? Think the club can survive without one for a year., especially if it means getting a quality director in next year. Get an agreement with Edwards to start early next summer.
  23. Be interesting to see who LWB will be for this game. Before Alonso was linked to a Barca move, I figured he would've started. Now that Cucurella is here.., maybe he can start right away? Doubt Chillwell will start given lack of match fitness.
  24. Just hope it amounts to something. And not just constant hype build up like De Ligt, Raphinha and Kounde. Fooled me once, twice and all that...
  25. Don't think anyone is against Cucurella. Just hoping this doesn't mean we're ignoring CB cover while letting Colwill go the other way. And keeping Saar instead.
