Gallagher is just so slow in the head. He starts thinking about where to pass the ball, only after he receives it. That's why he holds on to it for too long and just ends up either doing a back pass or giving away possession. Some things just can't be coached I guess

Essien was an underrated passer of the ball though. I know people on here have said that Reece James has succeeded in the DMF role when with Wigan in the Championship, but I still have my doubts with regards to doing that in the league.

To be fair, Auba hanging around might not be the worst thing in the world. Don't think he is the same level of dressing room poison that Lukaku is.

I hoped we would have at least one midfield signing to begin preseason with the team and build chemistry. And hopefully add another before the end of the window. Last season they screwed the players with hiring shitty managers. Really hope they're not going to do the same to the manager this time.

I'd like to know where this idea came from. He's been used in that position barely once. IMO, it's as bad an idea as having Luiz as DM. Round pegs in square holes don't work for long.

Yep. I think our fanbase needs to be a little more patient with our top players. These days they have a hundred options to choose from, and we aren't exactly top draw at the moment. Like it or not, Colwill has all the negotiating power in the world. The only thing we have is his contract. Poch & the club need to do whatever they can to convince him of the project and playing time. Else we will just continue to lose top players and become incapable of challenging for top 4 for a long time.
