It had to be Liverpool away as our first fixture after the international break. Honestly don't care about that game. If it goes south, great. Our objective is top 4., and Liverpool, Arsenal & City are in a different level. The important games are the Newcastle fixtures right after that. Hope we can pick up things there. And of course, the most important fixture is tomorrow. The last of our 'relatively easy' run of fixtures until the break. Let's make the most of it.

The shirt sponsor is a weird one. There are some outlets claiming that Chelsea don't want to commit to a long term sponsor, because the club currently isn't in an elite European competition,. and that makes a big difference in terms of financial incentives from any deal. Finding a short term sponsor like Infinite Athlete is far more difficult. I find the whole thing far fetched tbh. Even yoyo clubs like Spurs can attract shirt sponsors worth a damn. And it's not like Chelsea doesn't already have a massive fan following.

His combination with Palmer alone is enough for him to warrant a starting 11 position. 2nd match in a row where they've combined. I think the two of them have the most chemistry. If anyone needs to make way right now, it's Madueke.

I think that Palmer-Jackson combo is one of the best things about our attack atm., even if Jackson can be wasteful in front of goal. Sancho also has the potential to become part of this act.

Nkunku against this Brighton defence might be a fun watch.

Unfortunately the bench might not be all that better.

Sanchez back in donkey mode. If we had a back line and GK with more intelligence, this team would do so much more.

Ballack, Makelele and Carvalho. Chelsea were hard to beat during that decade they were there.

What are the odds that his next big game will be one of ours.

I hope the team can make a statement result against Brighton, next game. Chelsea underperforming at Stamford Bridge sounds so wrong.

Again Madueke...just play simple. Lift your head up, look. And honestly, I would have subbed Madueke here instead of Jackson. Latter could have stayed for his hat trick too.

Well, good thing is Chelsea escaped unscathed in that first half. Hopefully use the break to shake things up and give the team a reset.

They should also rest Palmer for a game or 2. Clearly doesn't seem to be playing at 100%. Play Nkunku or Neto instead. Don't want to run and burn another player into the ground.

Madueke drives well into the box. But I just wish he would lift his head up when doing so, and see all available options before making the final play. Misses opportunities to create great opportunities for his team mates because of that.

And while some may argue that the lack of shirt sponsor is because the club couldnt find a short term partner to work with (when out of Europe), my refrain would be the same as before. Who took a top 4 team out of Europe? It wasn't the government.

'Fantastic' is an exaggeration to say the least. If they were fantastic, they would have secured a consistent shirt sponsor by now. I don't think they're fantastic. I just hope they're adequate. Which is all that most football fans care about.

Probably our toughest fixture until Liverpool in October. Can never say anything for sure with this team, but if we pass this test, then it'll be looking good until the Pool game.
