  1. Hilarious. Saved by the offside flag.
  2. The Brentford fixture stands out though. This was one game where the manager blatantly took the foot of the gas, on a weekend where everyone else dropped points. He had several stronger options on the bench and he decided to spare all of them. Chelsea has one of the toughest finishes to the season and every point counts, especially at this stage.
  3. If Maresca hadn't cocked up his starting lineup against Brentford we could have been ahead. Now we need to worry about Newcastle leapfrogging us with their 2 spare games
  4. Hugo Ekiteke was someone I think you and I had talked about a couple or so years back. Would be nice to have him here now.
  5. I don't know, but I think most football fans wouldn't mind missing everything else but the goal.
  6. What a two faced phony. Press, if they actually had any guts, would call him out on this crap. He literally said the opposite last year.
  7. Today was a sunny day? 😄 the weather is enough to take out Maresca’s team?
  8. No one would expect a Chelsea win if you're playing Nkunku up front with KDH behind for most of the game.
  9. Both the board and Maresca conspired together for this clownshow. The fact that Maresca changed his tune, from saying no one asked him about top4, to saying top 4 was always the target shows the extent of BS they are ready to dish out to the fans
  10. Maresca : "Today, we moved one point closer to Liverpool"
  11. Any guesses what Maresca’s post match comments will be? "We played an excellent second half" Yeah, of course. Once you actually put out a team that can do a job.
  12. Gusto doesn't think before playing a pass or a cross.
  13. Much better with Jackson on. A CF who can move.
  14. More than his incompetence, it's the fact that Sanchez pairs it with arrogance that makes him insufferable
  15. Should have just played Gusto on the left and focus on defending, while playing James on the right. Maresca always trying to use unorthodox tactics
  16. Also don't get Maresca’s allergy towards playing James in his best position. I get that Gusto won't be effective in attack playing on the left, but I'd rather have that combo between James and Madueke to overload the right.
  17. Just in time for Tottenham? Likes to score against them.
  18. I think they'll both (hopefully) return together after the end of the international break.
  19. We have one of the toughest, if not the toughest, run-ins to the end of the season with tough fixtures back to back. I would also add the United fixture to that list. The bottle job already happened in December and Jan, when we could have been out of sight in the top 4 race.
