  1. It seems like Kounde is not top of TTs preferred choice as a CB, the way we are dealing with it atm gives me the vibe of us feeling the price tag is too high (we have not even started negotiating) and if he ends up else where then so be it.. seeing as we have an agreement in place with the player but not pulling the trigger just yet for the buy.. We could also be keeping an eye on the status of TTs preferred targets
  2. For me, I'm leaning more towards Raphinha than Sterling, especially if they're both in the £40M-£50M range.. Raphinha would possibly be on lower wages and he has yet to win any major trophies in the PL which would add extra drive for him to succeed here whereas Sterling has won everything you can win in the PL.
  3. Thank fuck. Priority number one was always going to be shipping Lukaku off, because the longer he stays, the more toxic the environment will become. Now we can focus on rebuilding the squad, also while dealing with the Alonso / Azpi situation along the way.
  4. If we are really interested in De Ligt, we could test the waters with a Jorgi+cash for him..
  5. The scouting team really needs to be re-evaluated.
  6. If City are asking 60M for Sterling, I would rather we go for Rapinha. Possibly also would be on lower wages compared to Sterling if they were to come here.
  7. Hopefully we can pull off the Skriniar, Lukaku deal.. the whole birds with one stone.
  8. I havent really watched him before... How technically limited are we talking about here.. Lukaku, Werner, Bakayoko bad?
  9. De Ligt would be a dream signing for me, just love his character.. and could potentially be the heart of our defence for many years.
  10. Hopefully our loss on the Lukaku deal wont be too big.
  11. We need to hurry on that Lukaku deal, Inter only willing to part with one big name player.
  12. All I asked from Lukaku was professionalism, that was the bare minimum and he couldnt even do that sigh... Its a good thing he also wants out, take a pay cut and get out mate. Also does anyone if we paid his £100M in bulk or in installments?
  13. Apparently this guy is hoping to force a move back to Inter.. what happened to his top 3 teams in the world.. Barca, Real and Bayern they didnt want you?... Maybe thats because you're not as good as you think! Comparing yourself to the likes of Benzema and CR7 cmon bro... I cannot stand this attitude of his.. coming back like he owned the place and is entitled to a starting spot.. honestly, i have never wanted a player out of the club as much as I want him out. And also we were stupid enough to pay the amount that we did to get him, best thing to do right now is take the loss and move on.. Thank you, rant over.
  14. The positive thing about the Lukaku tranfer is that he himself is pushing for a move
  15. Isco leaving on free... worth a shot?
  16. Correct me if i'm wrong but did Eden just cover the cost for our FA and Carabao cup loss?
  17. Has Lukaku been questioning too? Please be yes...
  18. Regarding Azpi, I think TT wants him to stay for stability. We will probably buy James's cover but we'll still keep Azpi around. With the new owners, new players, new staff it would help to have someone that has been around a while in the squad. Azpi will probably just play a handful of games next season in my opinion.
  19. Read some reports saying that Grvadiol is happy to stay and in no rush for a move.
  20. Gavi seems like he will always have Barca in his mind and if we somehow get him, I see him sometime in the future going back.. ala Cesc and Arsenal
  21. Thanks! We should REALLY pounce on this. Koundè wont be happy if he has to stay another season, i think he would definitely push hard for a move.
  22. Is the "Inter Milan need to sell to balance the books" story true?
  23. Personally for me, i hope we stay away from Neymar purely because of this.. "Neymar expanded on his desire to play in the U.S. by saying that since the MLS season is shorter than the European season, he would get "three months' vacation." Now he may be joking but it gives us a small insight to his mindset as a footballer atm and for me it doesnt warrant the wages we're going to have to pay him if he were to come here.
  24. As much as I love TT getting straight to it, I hope he recharges at some point. Last season was a long season full of anything and everything, I just dont want him to burn out in the middle of the next one.
