If there is real interest in Timo whether it be sale/loan, then we must tell Broja he has to stay. Also feel that 1 CB is sufficient for us preferably Kounde as he can slot into RWB if needed.

If we dont want to sell then dont sell, tell him he has to stay this season. If we do sell then put a buy back because even after next season he still has 3 years left on his contract. He hasnt even played a full season with us and is already asking for a move? How would he know what its going to be like if he hasnt even tried it, he is also only 20. He is the only out and out ST we have and brings a different skill set to Havertz which could come very handy, just because Lukaku failed in this system, doesnt mean he will. And with the whole 5 subs rule next season he will get plenty of game time, not forgetting that a player could get Covid and miss matches. Also reading that West Ham are after another ST, so they would have him, Antonio and the other guy. Which doesnt make sense to me on why he is so desperate for a move.

Wouldnt Broja be behind Antonio in the pecking order? Isnt he only behind Kai here? As I see the rest are either RW or LW... Also I think Broja has 4 years left in his contract, so it would be stupid to rush to sell him or selling him without a buy back. Shame if he does end up leaving, I was looking forward to seeing him playing with this team in preseason.

One player I really want at least loaned out is Sarr, with us having to pay a portion of his wages. Better a portion than the whole thing. The wages he is on and the level we are getting is comical. Keep Ampadu and loan/sell Sarr.

Regarding Colwill, I would understand him wanting to move if he has had a season here and has only played a handfull of games and wants more gametime. But he has yet to play a minute for the senior team and already asking for a move? If he is as good as he thinks he is, then he should be quite confident in fighting for a spot. Also sometimes as a 19 year old defender, learning from established world class defenders who have 10+ years of experience is something you should not pass up on.

I think TT should assess Colwill first before pulling the trigger on Ake, a move which will cost us £45M if City dont lower their demand.

It really is De Ligt or Skriniar for that top CB signing, nobody else would be that level. All or nothing... Todd needs to hit a homerun on this, make a statement.

Ake was their CB4, I dont think the players mentioned above would want that role at City. Laporte and Stones would also not be happy with being CB4.

I think the price tag is what put most people off with Ake. £45M is just too much. I even think £40M is pushing it.

Regarding Broja and Colwill, I am sure they will get more than a handful of games if they stay. Looking as our only striker is Kai and looking at the amount of games we had to endure with Sarr, you would think their game time is safe.
