I feel Cucurella can challenge Chilwell not sure about KWP with Reece albeit Reece is WC so its going to be hard. So if we're signing a backup then spend backup type money, if we're signing competition then we're going to have to spend more, we need to avoid spending "competition" type money on a backup. As to me there quite a big difference in quality between decent backup and competition.

For me, I dont want us to force buy a RWB just for the sake of buying. If there isnt a good RWB available may aswell play RLC there, he is comfortable here and he is not looking to move. He does an ok job there, we have to remember that whoever we sign they will probably here for 3+ years. Next year most of the deadwood are out of contract, no need to be adding more to the list. Also remember that Livramento's buy back can be triggered next season.

Well I am happy that the club didnt go ahead with the Kounde deal if they had doubts. Yes we made a mistake of wasting our time chasing him but at least we realized our mistake and fixed it instead of making another mistake in signing him.

For me the chances of TT going for CR7 are low, based of the fact that when interviewed he has always emphesized on how the team have mutual respect for each other and work well together, no egos. So I would think CR7 would be at the bottom of the list.
