  1. I think you missed the "Australian Humour" in that post.
  2. He would be an instant starter at Inter Milan (no wingers, or pace), Chelsea (no wingers, or pace) and Liverpool (no good players). But no, he will join the most overcrowded club in the world.
  3. Well, who didn't see this coming? IT is all over the internet. It is crazy.
  4. I would support this signing.
  5. He was so overpowered in FIFA 11 it was kind of funny. And apparently he cost Juve 3 points this weekend by missing a tap in. He is fast and has great ball control. But he is not by all means a great dribbler. If he had better link up play, I would say yes to this potential signing...but from all of the feedback it doesn't seem like it. Speaking of Serie A. Gionvico, anyone? I know he co-owned by Juve, but that shouldn't stop Chelsea.
  6. FORZA INTER! Haha, take that AC. People shouldn't be too surprised with the win. Inter has a terrible start under Gasperini but now with the undervalued genius of Ranieri at the helm, anything is possible. Now, the Nerazzurri aim for the Scudetto. Some of you may be surprised but for me, this is like Chelsea beating Arsenal.
  7. When he plays a full 90 mins, he looks as if he is knocking on death's door.
  8. I know I shouldn't... but I love puns so much.
  9. Whenever I see his photo as Bluelion's Avatar, I see an optimistic future for football.
  10. I don't think he will be a great player, but he will be a solid and reliable player. #13 will always be Ballack's in my mind.
  11. Fullham is Chelsea's funny looking brother that doesn't really hate us just says he does because he is jealous. He is too nice to hate anyone. QPR is Chelsea's inbred cousin that looks upon the world with total misanthropy and should not be given any mercy as he would give Chelsea none. Spiteful and distasteful. QPR are also title challengers.
  12. In my eyes Gotze is similar to Iniesta and Josh is similar to Xavi. A potent combination perhaps?
  13. I've said some negative things about him and well I have to like and respect him now as he is a Chelsea player. As long as doesn't do what the Dutch guy did and soak up wage while never playing.
  14. Didn't I say that in my opening post? Using that logic we may as lock most of the topics in the Transfer forum. This thread isn't about signing the players, it's about who would be better for the club if the hypothetical situation of signing one of these players did occur. Jesus Christ. Go on, go and post "stupid thread" in every other player's topic you think we won't sign.
  15. Thanks, man. Your input into this debate was appreciated. Why the fuck even say anything if it's pointless?
  16. Well, we would be a very marketable team wouldn't we? Roman's dream of sexy Football would come true anyway.
  17. I forgot we even signed him. Hell, I forgot Inter signed him too.
  18. Following Sh0n3x's probably sarcastic comment I decided to create this topic. We have been (somewhat) linked with a trio of awesome talent but that's really nothing new. And this awesome trio consists of: The German Assist Machine Mario Götze, the Explosive Winger Eden Hazard and the Brazilian Dribbling Dynamo Neymar . Who would you prefer to bolster our ranks here at Stamford Bridge? I for one would prefer the Magnificent Mario as he would be the most potent creative force on our team, yes even beter the the our Spanish Maestro Mata. But the disapointed idealist in me screams that we will won't sign any these future Ballon D'or hopefuls. And don't forget they are all Capped Internationals.
  19. I think I might just do that. It would be interesting to see what everyones preference is. What forum would be most appropriate?
  20. AFL is the most boring sport I have ever watched, sorry my friend. In my experience the popularity is pretty even. Sydney Roosters fan ever since I was 6 years old. I also hate how they wear singlets.
  21. I cant believe he is getting 23 million pounds over the duration of his contract.
