  1. I know that most Israelites are Jewish but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions by just saying "I don't want to offend xPetrCechx by using racist slang". I believe you, but some still might take offence. You have to undersatnd people blow things out of proportion. I have a feeling that Schurrle has a much better chance of walking into the starting XI than Lukaku. I think Di Matteo or whoever is in charge would prefer Schurrle to Lukaku just by the sheer fact that he played in Germany opposed to Belgium.
  2. Why is Hulk a better option? Because he will cost three times more? Or is it because everyone says how good he is? Or perhaps you just want to oggle his muscles on the tele more often? Dont' forget Schurrle plays in a much more demanding league. I'm always afraid of calling Spurs Scum yids, because I get paranoid that a Jewish person may be around.
  3. Pedro was 17, John Terry was 15, Messi was 13. JT and Pedro both spent at the very least 3 years in there respective teams youth setups before debut. Messi spent at the very least four years the youth setup before making his debut in 2004.
  4. Pedro joined Barcelona in 2004 from San Isidro. He didn't make his debut till 2007. During that time he played for the Barcelona C & B teams who train at La Masia. John Terry joined Chelsea in 1995 from West Ham. He didn't make his debut till 1998. During that time he played in the reserves at Cobham (or whereever the youth trained during the 90s). Since Pedro didn't come from La Masia, John Terry didn't come from Chelsea. That means Chelsea hasn't had a successfull youth since I don't knwo Bobby Tambling? Lionel Messi came from Newell's Old Boys does that mean he also didn't come from La Masia?
  5. Still a great CB, nonetheless. Care to elaborate, or is that as in depth as you want to go?
  6. That seems to be a recent thing. A lot of players from La Maisa that end up leaving don't always return. Quique Alvarez, Gabri, Sergio Garcia, Roger Garcia, Thiago Motta, Fernando Navarro among others never returned. Arguably these guys were never as good as Pedro but they don't always return to 'where they belong'. Also Cesc was suffering so he had to retuern, well according to Xavi anyway.
  7. Double Post. Please delete, kind and generous moderators.
  8. I remember during the Junary transfer window of last year, I would wake up every morning before school and watch Eurosports News! I was estatic waking up and learning we had signed Torres. I'd give him another season before nailing the coffin of his career. If they can figure out a proper training schedule and how often he can play, he could play quite often a la Ledley King. I have a mancrush on Pato so I'm biased.
  9. I 100% agree with the part about keeping cards close to our chest. The closer they are they less chance of a hijack. Besides I like the surprise.
  10. I don't know enough about the squads he had at his disposal to make a good judgement.
  11. Cahill much Luiz and Mata just endears himself in every game.
  12. You think he may end up like Alexandre Pato? Pato is not so tall, but his pace is too much for his knees and hamstrings to handle. You can't go wrong with Germans. I like Lowe but he hasn't been involved with club football since 2004 and coaching at Euros limits the time he can spend with the club during preseason. Lowe does have 53.5% win record since 1996...
  13. Yeah, not to mention they have given Chelsea some great players. Lampard, Joe Cole, and don't forget John Terry was at West Ham for a few years as a kid. Talk about a feeder club. I wonder who they will give us next? Tomkins? Collison?
  14. He is faaaaast and a very hard worker. I doubt this signing seeing as he just signed for Leverkusen last year, but you never know.
  15. I'm agreeing with you, idiot.
  16. Cricket is mainly popular in Australia, New Zealand, India, South Africa, England, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, West Indes, Pakistan and strangely enough Afghanistan. Contrary to popular belief the main religion in India is not Hiduism but Cricket. Cricket has a really unique culture to it, but it has suffered in recent years which is a shame really.
  17. Vieri also played for Juventus and Milan. I like Vieri, he always looked more like a man that would crack open a VB and complain about Bathurst and scream at the tele because the Rabbitohs are losing to the Roosters rather than a footballer. He just screams yobo and bogan all over. "Oi woman! Where da fuck did I put me shirt? I'm gettin a bit red out here, fuck ya! "
  18. It doesn't really matter how old a player is, it more their approach and mentality. Look at Tim Cahill, he has been playing consistently ever since he joined Millwall all those years ago, his determination and drive makes him succeed.
  19. Di Natale still has buckets of pace at 34. I'm sure he would be a great winger.
  20. So...you are just some white kid from the Midlands? BlueLion you are such an effective troll.
  21. Fade, you say? As of 2012 one of the best strikers in Europe is: drum roll please.........34! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ea3a9FEVLog
  22. Nobody deserves that. He did well not to retaliate, I would have exploded into a fit of rage and struck back.
  23. What the...? Am I the only person on this site that actually has a entirely English heritage? The more you know. It is good to see multiculturalism.
