If England wishes to compete on an International stage radical changes in the youth set up and a revolution of the Football Association is needed. This is how I think England should approach things: Chelsea First Team Chelsea Reserve Team (Anyone is eligible for this team) Chelsea Under 21s Say Chelsea travel to Old Trafford to play Manchester United. The Chelsea Reserves and Chelsea Under 21s will both play matches with the Manchester United Reserve Team and Manchester United Under 21s before the First Teams play. This should happen with every fixture throughout the season allowing young players and players needing match fitness to play regularly. Of course this idea may force the dissolution of the Youth FA Cup.
