He's not used to bus in Portugal

First half team was bad, but he was the only positive. His control was sure, and always found a way out when he looked to be surrounded. He also played 2 good passes to Salah and Bamford.

Oscar can get a lot of power on it though, just like his crosses and free-kicks. Willian and Hazard just take it so weakly that it inevitably doesn't reach anyone.

Good comeback. MVG was disappointing for me, but not going to jump into any conclusions since he's still recovering from injury. Might need a loan though to play more regularly. Baker was good just like in the last game, he knows how to pick a pass. All in all a good test against a bus; which highlighted just how crucial set-pieces are, especially when we have so many good in the air. Need to stop Willian and Hazard from taking wasting them, and let Oscar/Fabregas do.

He's still 3rd choice to start on the right, but a good option to have in the squad. His pace and skill can change any game, it's now about him being more composed in decisive moments.

One thing is for sure, Mou cares too much about defense to allow both fullbacks to bomb forward like Alves and Alba. 1 player will be very attacking like Ivanovic last season, and the other will go forward when needed.

Illara was a flop and Alonso is getting older. They needed a CM, but not Kroos; he makes them even weaker defensively.

When Cole played, he didn't act as 3rd CB like Azpi - who let's not forget, was very limited because of playing on the wrong side. On the other side Ivanovic got forward every time. So i believe Luis will be the more attacking fullback, and Azpi will play moderately like Cole did.

Good signing. Like at Atletico, he won't necessarily have 5 chances to get a goal (cough benzema cough) but he's proven the past few seasons he doesn't need that many to find the back of the net. I love his fighting attitude also, but he does take it OTT with the minor head-butts - needs to cut that out, and he probably will after his first ban Now i just hope Torres/Drogba isn't 2nd choice and we're ready to go.
