I think he's not as bad as he's made to look for Spain or Barca. Those 2 teams play a ridiculously high line with barely anyone helping in defence, many defenders would struggle under the same conditions. I don't want him here, but he could easily go to a team playing a disciplined low block and look much better.

He's definitely better centrally. He is not a proper wide player so he's very limited - especially on the right. He can only do the quick step over and low cross consistently. Centrally or on the left, he can at least do the step over and create space for himself to shoot. Oscar will have the same problems if he was also used on the wings.

He won't play big games when Ramires is fit. I just hope he can maintain his current form vs lesser sides.

I wanted Mikel on at HT so I have nothing to complain about on that front - we needed more stability in mid imo, and he was the only option. But it was a bad move to not bring on Schurrle earlier, we did fuck all on the counter when they pushed everyone up. Anyway Hazard-Oscar-Willian continues to be my most hated trio. We can get away with it with Costa, but their lack of top attacking quality (obviously the 2 Brazilians) is a problem with a player like Drogba up there. At least they can defend though!!
