Anyone know where to find any stats done on chance conversion rate? and how Falcao ranks in comparison to other 'elite' strikers in the top European leagues. I know Suarez will be way down the list, since he misses 8 chances before scoring one goal Anyway given the shoddy production we have been getting from our strikers over the past 3 seasons* i just hope whoever we get; Falcao or whoever can deliver. Enough with the torture, we need a striker that can carry this team. This team that is able to create 5 chances a game and still find a way to not score. * I know someone is going to mention Drogba last season, but he only did it in the big games, which is great really - but he had like 6 goals total in the premier league, which is just awful. The season before that he had malaria and went cold after a good start.

Of course we can. It will just make it harder to post a profit next season, but selling Torres/Sturridge and also a high earner like Lamps/Cole leaving could help. And also, if the club are not confident of meeting FFP, i'm sure they will not sign him.

Just seen it, i don't know anything about him, but he's a midfielder which is good and something everyone knows we needed. If everything goes fine, we can then turn attention to getting a striker.

Of course he could have, but it's not even the results i particularly am focusing on but the different things we have been doing since he took over. For example, we have been defending better, starting halves better, more direct football - less passing around the box, and looking for the killer pass quicker. Simply i have been impressed/encouraged, and hopefully these can continue.
