That's the question as it stands now: Why did we give away Essien and sell Meireles just a few days later? Makes no sense at all for me. A PL season is tough and without back-ups who aren't much worse than the starter you can lose points and games. It's confusing. We'll have to see what RDM's plan is (or who ever is responsible for this strange deal). Fener got a good international proven player, he'll be more worth for you than he was for us, no doubt about it. A friend of mine is Fener fan so I'll try to stay updated about Raul's efforts

I don't like this at all. If he's really that unhappy couldn't we have offloaded him earlier? As long as we had the chance to buy a replacement?! I don't even want to image who's gonna play if Lampard and Mikel are injured/suspended. It would leave us with no options beside Romeu and Ramires. And neither one of them is capable of starting, let alone starting together.

But when will that happen? We can't buy new "more important" players till January, so what's the point in giving away one of the only real options for the double pivot?

I see. I don't like the idea of having to pay for education. The Austrian school system is such a fucked up one that you can only get very good education at private schools. It's a shame when you look at how many young talented pupils don't have the chance to go to one of those schools and in the end end up in vocational schools.
