That's the question as it stands now: Why did we give away Essien and sell Meireles just a few days later? Makes no sense at all for me. A PL season is tough and without back-ups who aren't much worse than the starter you can lose points and games. It's confusing. We'll have to see what RDM's plan is (or who ever is responsible for this strange deal). Fener got a good international proven player, he'll be more worth for you than he was for us, no doubt about it. A friend of mine is Fener fan so I'll try to stay updated about Raul's efforts

I don't even want to image who's gonna play if Lampard and Mikel are injured/suspended. It would leave us with no options beside Romeu and Ramires.
