Thyce Slegger a Dutch correspondent was on Talksport earlier saying Hiddink isnt joining Chelsea as DoF, he will stick to advising Roman. Apparently has not been contacted by chelsea in over a month or so
-
Rumour earlier that Arda Turan (plus cash) was heading to Atletico Madrid and Forlan, Reyes and Ujfalusi were heading opposite way to Galatasaray

Deschamps has been considered no doubt. He wont get the job, but he would of been on a list of potential candidates IMO

Deny it all you want, but fact is if Santos lose this Copa Lib final im pretty sure he will move, rather than attempt to win the competition again next time with the risk of losing again. He knows a move to Europe isnt guaranteed whenever he feels like moving, he needs to move when the offers are there, and they're there now. He could stay yes, but I bet he will move before 2014 World Cup, most definitely. Match the buyout and Santos cant do fuck all. All these denials from his agent are money grabbing tactics, similar to what Zamparini is doing for Pastore

Wilkins wont return, hes said himself his time with chelsea is over now. We tried for Steve Clarke but he had no intention of leaving Liverpool. (according to Ben Smith of the Times)
-
Might be reading too much into this, but Im certain he is coming to CFC, given his "interesting developments at CFC" tweet before. Just got a nagging feeling Hughes is involved in the set-up
-
Yeh i was going to say Bronzetti denied it, and apparently he said all he knows is whats in the newspapers, and he is not involved in any deal with Neymar. I found it strange that he'd leave the day before Copa Lib final, and tweeted something about CFC last night
-
Spanish media apparently have no knowledge whatsoever of Neymar joining Madrid. The whole story has come due to something said by a super agent something Bronzetti
-
Think so, announced later on i think
-
SkySport 24 reporting Neymar has signed for Real Madrid, 5yr deal
-
I'd like to know same thing, think i seen someone say he posted it then deleted it
-
De esa cuenta espero lee cuando diga que viene para el Chelsea... Did Neymar actually tweet this or is somebody having a laugh?
-
I've heard so many stories that Real Madrids link to Neymar is false and it's a smokescreen so that their pursuit of aguero stays out of the limelight, whilst it gets progressed behind the scenes

Yeh Twitter is quite reliable, I knew Jones was having a medical at Man Utd about half hour 40mins before it became "breaking news" on SSN. Also found out on deadline day around 11am that we had agreed fee for Torres. Just got to be able to spot the bullshit from truth, usually by common sense
-
my point is, for a guy who is meant to be the "main target" id of imagined Roman busting a gut to get him, and compared to previous dealings £4m is nothing. You'd expect him to stump that sum up in no time. The fact he's yet to pay a reasonable sum of £4m (in romans case) tells me maybe Guus is no longer the only target they're interested in Like I've said anyway before, I dont think this Hiddink deal is nailed on to happen, i can see him staying, or taking up DoF
-
I know how much is true. None of it. £41m has been mentioned as the price they'll sell at for weeks. Now we think £30m will get them to give in, highly unlikely in my opinion
-
I still think if Hiddink had told the Turkish players hes leaving, one of them would of leaked at least some sort of info. In the same way Ujfalusi revealed Aguero told him hes going to Real Madrid. If we knew Hiddink was going on holiday (which turned out to be a charity event in Korea) why haven't we already agreed the compensation and flown to Korea to negotiate. Its not hard to agree the compensation now and know that when the target returns or whatever, you can enter straight into talks and get the deal done. With us still not having even got the compensation settled, I've a feeling that Mark Hughes or A.N. Other is definitely being considered and Hiddink is going to take DoF. Thats my speculation
-
Guus is in Korea right now, so why arent our reps over there tying this up. I think he's there for a charity match. Phil McNulty, (i think hes a jounro) said he;s been told Hughes may yet be in line for a role at Chelsea. Cant see it myself
-
Turkey are 2nd with game in hand and are heavily favourites to get 2nd and qualify for Euros. This is why there is doubt as to whether he will take managers job with us, plus, Turkey FA member said he asked Guus in dressing room after 1-1 Belgium draw what his plans were, and he said he will go to a Turkey B match to see potential call-ups for senior squad, and also go to Korea for a charity match. I dont know when these games are, but thought id mention it.
-
Just to point out, Verheijen also worked with Hughes at Man City, so theres a connection there too. Thought id put that out there...
-
Every manager makes transfer market failures, name me 1 who hasnt?
-
Barking mad. IMO you'd need at least 30-35, when he left madrid probably could have paid 23
-
how good is De Bruyne mate? only seen him on youtube and thats easy to make someone look amazing. He looks to have a thunder bolt shot think he will join CFC?
-
Well tbh im hoping Raymond Verheijen (0 the guy who tweeted about the developments at Chelsea today) tells us a bit more tomorrow
-
He is the cureent Wales assistant manager and worked under Guus when Guus was last at Chelsea. Complete and utter guess but i think he is going to work under Guus again at CFC
