I dont think Costa will be here next season, so 2 new strikers is a must tbh. Abraham will go on loan, Traore 2nd or 3rd choice, Bamford is just not cut out for this level. Solanke isn't either
-
Need? Hard to say. Left back, CB ( or 2) a CM, 2 strikers. Possibly another player in the Oscar role, and sell him on. Will we get what we need? I very much doubt it.
-
No one, his agent is saying the release clause is now allowed to be triggered.
-
Dont even think Jose wants him. Lazy journalism IMO
-
Im going to guess it is Ricardo Rodriguez, who was only linked to Arsenal and is now heading to Liverpool perhaps
-
His recent quotes are a man saying the right things in public, but really wanting the move in private
-
The "No CL" excuse is way overused aswell. Seriously, in all honesty, do you think players would turn down Chelsea or Liverpool and bigger money, for Leicester because they're CL? Example, if both Chelsea and Leicester had a bid accepted for say, Morata, who does he choose?
-
I'd imagine a lot of it was the club wanting the Jose and Eva case sorted and out the way. Now we have nothing to distract us we can just crack on. Conte will have handed us his list, pre season is 4 weeks away, id expect movement pretty soon tbh
-
Di Maria went to Man Utd without CL. As did Falcao. Blind, Herrera, Shaw also. It is not the end of the world, it is how Conte and Granovskaia can sell their project. Would players be prepared to spend at least a year here knowing we will probably get top 4 next year? I'd say yeh, along with their big wages
-
I haven't seen much of Bailly, regular La Liga watchers say he is very very raw and the fee is excessive
-
I'd go in with 35m euros and a loan of a youngster ~(Pasalic, Musonda, Boga etc) or just stick 40m euros on the table, if they say no, call it quits.
-
Would be happy signing Morata over Lukaku for £65m put it that way.
-
The Mirror reckon we are confident of getting N'Golo Kante, and Conte wants to pair him with Nainggolan. Chuck Fabregas in the midfield too, and that would be pure filth
-
I am not sure what can be done by Monday, to be honest. I mean if Real Madrid are definitely not going to consider selling him (if it's up to them at the moment) until they buy him back, we have to wait until mid-July.as i think their option to buy him back only exists between July 1 and 15th. So could possibly try offering Juventus big money before then, as they technically own him. Weird situation, hopefully though we do get some news this week
-
Wonder if Arsenal going for Vardy is due to them getting word that Morata was close to coming here?
-
They're basing it on widespread rumours from a month or so back. That they'd buy him back for the set fee £22m or whatever, and if someone offered them 35-40 theyd sell him on
-
If Arsenal get Vardy along with Xhaka and we ended up with Morata and Nainggolan, we have had the better window. Vardy to Arsenal is not worrying at all
-
Can quite easily say Conte will turn Rudiger into a monster of a CB. For lesser money

Any Dutch speaking users can confirm if that de Visser article is actualy recent or not? Because I am sure i have read the part about Essien and Drogba in an old interview... but not the bit regarding a busy summer
-
I am all for youth, but some of the people i have seen on social media saying not to sign a new midfielder and have RLC, Baker and Cesc as the midfield is ridiculous. Soon as our youth score a good goal in a shitty league, and have a decent season, or play well in a International tournament equivalent to U18-U21 football, they want them starting in the 11. It will not, and wont ever, happen that way
-
I have a feeling if a player is on loan with view to buy, then the player is in total agreement too. I'd imagine when they sort the loan deal with the player and parent club, with a view to buy, they make sure the player agrees to join permanent (or be at least willing to) should they trigger it, during the original talks. If the player then hears of Chelsea for example contacting his agent, then finds out Roma have triggered his permanent deal, and decides actually I'd like to go to Chelsea if i can; Roma are going to ask silly money because they most likely do not really want to sell him
-
I can quite confidently see us pumping millions into this summers transfer window. New manager, overhaul needed, fix the mess of the last 2 windows, get us back into top 4. IF you said to me we will spend £100m, i'd not be surprised
-
I absolutely hate WAGNH. Their reporters come across as cocky and know it all's. I can remember a few rumours they've ridiculed and laughed off, which then happened. Think Pato was one

Forfeits an extra £17m a year in China if he stays, according to the media. I can understand why it needs considering, but given his almost begging in media to stay, i hope his heart rules his head
