Nah i dont think that would be right. Has to be some sort of legal issue if ADL tries to stop him going to work elsewhere; if Sarri resigns off his own accord. I'd say it's more a case of him being unable to resign while the clause is active, otherwise Napoli could kick up a fuss that he has purposely stopped them getting their potential 8m euros. Sarri has been replaced yes, but is effectively on gardening leave. Still being paid by Napoli; Ancelotti is actually, contractually in some way, still tied to Bayern until May 31st. And until that date they're still paying him. So although he has been announced, paperwork wont have been filed yet as it cant until June 1st im guessing.
