I agree when people say we over rate our youth a bit, no doubt we have some incredible prospects and will have many more in the future but people need to remember we are one of the best clubs in the world, 95% of the youth wont be anywhere near good enough. I think we're going down the right route tho in terms of scouting talents, the likes of Sturridge, Kakuta and Piazon will (hopefully, if we get our heads straight) have a long and amazing future at Chelsea. Having said that I do think that we've not given enough chances to the youth, Borini and Sturridge quickly spring to mind. Hopefully our next manager will change that.

No doubt he's an awesome player but how is he going to fit in? with Torres, Sturridge and possibly Drogba as well. I doubt he'd settle for a place on the wing where he isn't at his best, not to mention his constant moaning.

Looks like I missed the party

Currently, I think our strongest back four is Iva - Alex - Terry - Cole but if the rumors about VDW are true then I'd have him over Iva, he'd bring a lot more balance to the side, imo. Sadly I think Iva has to go unless he's happy sitting on the bench. Luiz should be rotated, at the minute he's far too raw too be trusted in big games and should start against lower to mid table opposition that are more likely to sit back on us at home.

Would be an absolute dream signing, would be my #1 choice. He also gives Carlo the option of reverting to his favorite diamond formation with a genuine number 10 with any two strikers up front, also assuming we get VDW it would make for a very complete formation.

I think it's safe to say the left trident of Cole - Lampard - Malouda has been relied on for a long time, I feel this team is a lot more balanced in terms of creativity and genuine attacking threat. We can all see that Luiz has a lot to learn, he exited us with his MOTM performances but it's clear to see he's very raw still which is why I believe Alex should be starting the majority of games and certainly away games, Luiz can play games at SB when teams are more likely to sit back on us. Possible outs: One if not Both of Malouda or Zhirkov Essien hasn't been great Possible ins: can't really think of a left winger, Silva would be a dream but unrealistic. and who could we get to replace the Bison himself, despite him being out of form it's difficult to think of a like for like player. Our best bet would be a more creative CM, again, Modric would be a dream but unrealistic.
