The media have gone into overdrive now with the Ancelotti story claiming that he will confirm as soon as this weekend that he will be taking over at Chelsea!!!! Time will tell on this one but it is certainly one the press won't let go, it may it is similar to the summer where the Ancelotti story dominated but we ended up with some else....

I disagree, firstly, the club are very keen on getting the English quota of the club higher because of the possible FIFA ruling and also the UEFA homegrown rule. Mancienne is extremely highly thought of and now is the time for him to be a first team player. Secondly i would find it unlikely that Carvalho, Alex and Ivanovic will all be here next season. They will all feel that they should be first team starter and not be willing to be second best. Alex has seemingly cemented his spot as partner to JT. I think it most likely that Carvalho will leave this summer.

Mancienne will be very much part of our first team plans next season, and rightly so.

He hasn't particulary impressed with what he has done at City, and i don't think he is anywhere near a list of possibles. Given the length of time since Scolari's departure and also knowing from day 1 that Hiddink will not be staying beyond the end of the season, you would think the club already have the new manager lined up and ready to go once the season comes to an end.

I really don't want Ancelotti, he really is not suited to what need. It is a really tough call but Rijkaard ot Advocaat would be better for sure. Whoever it is i hope it is sorted very early on in the summer so we can get things sorted out quickly, that way we put ourselves in a much better position for the start of the season.

Not going to happen, Mikel is one hell of a talent. He is vital for us going forward and we build for the next few seasons. It would most certainly take more than £15m to take him away from us....

Man Utd don't seen to have a problem playing youngsters at any given time. And i wouldn't say that any of the players Man U have played are any better than players we have, for example Wellbeck played in the FA Youth Cup game and although he looked good he didn't look any better than Nouble or Borini. Frank Arneson talked a little about Ben recently, he said that what happens next season to Sahar will depend on the new manager. Sahar will be back in the summer so the new manager can look over him and a descision will be made.

2 games left and then the FA Cup final. So the question is, do we chase second place with Liverpool needing to drop more than 3 points in 2 games, or do we rest some players for the cup Final??? Last game at the bridge is always a good occasion and hopefully we will sign out with a win.....

This was an excellant performance from us, and really showed how far we have come in the run in to the end of the season. We completely dominated this game and got the result we certainly deserved. Malouda, Anelka and Drogba, with Frank supporting, has really given us a cutting edge and dominance in attack and we used it to great effect on Sunday.

Hiddink has made appointing our next manager extremely hard. Whoever comes in has an incredibly hard job. I think Hiddink is going to have the biggest say in who the new man will be, which is why i think it is going to be Rijkaard.

Every single Chelsea supporter (and player) would want Hiddink to stay, what he has done for us has been incredible. He is a very honest man and that is why we will not keep him, he will finish the job with Russia. It does look as though he will take on the role of Romans chief advisor and maybe later a bigger role. Which for me means that Hiddink is going to have the biggest say on who the next boss will be.

To be honest i would have rather we let him go this summer. I havn't been impressed with him this season, and he now doesn't justify the wages he is on, i would much rather a midfield of Mikel, Essien and Lampard every day..... we need to to freshen up our squad and the 30+ "big names" are what we need to be avoiding.

On inside the academy tonight on CTV Frank Arneson talked about Sloodan Rajkovic. Rajkovic cannot play for us yet until he has played enough games for his national team. Frank confirmed that next season he will 100% be back on loan next season, they do not know where yet but there is a LOT of interest in him now after a good season at FC Twente. But he will definately not be sold..

In an ideal world all players would be local players with close ties to the club and the area. But thats not going to happen. It is going to take a massive overhaul of the rules to stop things like that happening.

Yeah, that was another thing. The media reporting on police having been stationed at his house, reports from his country were that they were put they to keep the media at bay. The guy wasn't even at his house at the time.
