The refusal to drop out of form players is frustrating, the players have the mentality now of playing no matter how poor their form. A lot of the players need a good kick up the backside.

A loss just puts me in a bad mood, the bigger the game the worse the mood.

Without any form we have no chance of winning the CL, the way we are playing Copenhagen will be a tough tie for us.

For me at the moment winning something is not in the front of my mind. All i can focus on at the moment is to get our players playing well to their abilities and generating some kind of form, until then we cannot possibly think of winning anything let alone the Champions League.

Yes, there is no point being sentimental about players, at the end of the day it is whats best for the club that is the most important thing.

Kaka is without doubt a top class player, however given our current status i would rather sign someone younger who will offer more over a long period.

Would be gutted to see Jack Cork leave the club, doubly so without even being given a chance. He is an excellent midfielder and would be great squad player for us, we could use him at the moment to be honest.

It was obvious 2 seasons ago that rebuilding should have started, we have left it late and it has cost us. Although the form of the majority of the team cannot be put down to lack of rebuilding and that is my biggest concern at the moment.

Who to pick is a tough choice, so many underperforming players for the front 3 and the midfield 3.... Ramires is a must and i would definately give Josh the chance to show if he can do any better.

Drogba's form this season has been poor. If he stays fine, but i also would not be devestated if he did go. We really need to be looking forward and building a team to take us to the next level. It is clear that the current squad isn't going to do that, the additions of Ramires, Luiz and Torres are very positive but we need to build on that and if that means letting Drogba go then OK.

The only question mark i can see is if Carlo can turn things around this season, we need to finish top 4 and we need to play with more intensity and ability. There are a lot of positives we have some cracking young players, Roman looks like investing as he needs to. But there is a lot of uncertainty for the rest of this season still.

Would like to see Zhirkov given an extended run in the side playing left winger, again cannot be worse than what we are currently seeing and it would only be fair to see him play in his best position.

Are we really discussing the form of Fernando Torres 2 games after signing him and 2 games in which he was fed poor scraps from the rest of the team to work with........ If the media want to bash him everytime he doesn't score in a game then there is nothing we can do about that but i would think Chelsea fans would be clever enough to know that we cannot judge Torres at the moment.

The only questions we need to ask regarding Carlo is: 1. Can he turn around the way we are playing for the rest of the season? 2. Given the chance to add to his squad in the summer will we see improvement next season? If Carlo is unable in any way to turn around the way we are playing for the rest of the season then you have to question if he should stay for next season. I like Carlo a lot but it is becomming very frustrating to see us play so poorly so regulary and see little inspiration off the bench.

Pace, creativity and can score goals. Sound like exactly what we are missing in our team.

As much as we don't want to rely on him at 17, Josh is a player who hardly ever gives the ball away and can create openings in attack. The way the midfield is playing i see no other option than to play Josh, but it won't happen. We will continue to plod on with underperforming players.

Absolutely right. And it is becomming very frustrating. The thing is what is the solution. I like him a lot but i am starting to question Carlo at the moment, unable to get the players playing the way we should, unable to make tactical subs to turn a game - Torres should have stayed on when Drogba came on, it was clear a straight swap would make no difference.

The crazy thing is that if we played say Ramires, Clifford and McEachran it isn't as if they could do any worse than what we are seeing at the moment..... We do need to look towards younger players, like Ramires, Like Luiz. Our forward options will need looking at in the summer too Drogba, Malouda, Anelka and Kalou are all underperforming.

Our midfield is a BIG problem. Ramires is the only player who is is any sort of form the rest are just poor and holding us back at the moment. Looking toward the summer is one thing but we are in desperate need of a solution for the rest of the season.

Would be nice to see us put out our strongest side for this one, no point being precious with the new signings, we paid big bucks for them so we may as well chuck em in. Would love to see us rip Liverpool apart with Torres at the head of attack....

Fantastic performance at last! What a revelation Anelka was played behind Drogs and Kalou! With Torres there instead of Kalou it will be devestating. Good to see some positive movement and quick play at last..... very much enjoyed that game,.

Really was mad watching it all unfold last night and very surreal to see Torres at Stamford Bridge signing his contract and holding up the shirt. I thought he handled his interview well. Big statement of intent from us now, up to Carlo to get him and Drogba playing together.

The fact that Liverpool have offically agreed a fee for Carroll means that Torres is definately on his way out 100%! Of course he still could end up at City, but it looks like by 11:00pm tonight Torres will be a Chelsea player.... who would have thought it eh

Well it certainly looks like Torres is our only target for January now. However this big spend plus the potential move for Luiz will make the summer quite interesting that is for sure.
