Lol, we don't exactly NEED more money anything we would make from him, Sidwell or Pizarro would be a bonus..
-
It would be a great signing, but the guy being interviewed is right, there are some issues involved in us signing him...

Cech Petrescu Desailly Terry A.Cole Makelele Lampard Gullit Zola Drogba Hughes

Ballack Hopes To Return Next Month

And hopefully we will see that this season. If he can score the sort of important goals he did last season that would be pretty good.... -
Indeed, but he is built to be a right back IMO, strong, fast, athletic - a good prospect for sure..
-
There are many strikers i would like to see at Chelsea before Anelka, don't like him and he is very very overrated...
-
He is a quality young player and a very good prospect for right back. Now Anthony Grant has gone off on loan i would like to see him back in the reserves on a regular basis...
-
That club will still have to pay about £30m for him, and then if Drogba wants to go then so be it....

Ballack Hopes To Return Next Month

He wasn't exactly bad last year. His quality will a real help to us, especially during the ACN..... -
Anyone can be made to look good on a Youtube video, it doesn't show the actual ability or potential of a player 90% of the time...
-
Without youtube how would we find about players like this gem playing for AFC Wimbledon: Sign him up
-
Forget that, there are only 2 sources you need to know if a player is good or not apparently:1. YouTube2. Football ManagerFACT....

Makelele Unsure On Future/Deal with Grant?
EskWeston replied to Aesthetic Relic's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I thought this deal was in place with Jose as well?? -
Chelsea and Manchester City are in a cheque book war for Nicolas Anelka - but they will have to fork out £30million to sign the France striker.Anelka will leave Bolton if the bidding reaches £15m in the January transfer window and insiders say he is also looking for a contract until 2011 and £4million a year in wages. It is a huge bill that is being considered by both Avram Grant and Sven Goran Eriksson, who head the list of Anelka's many admirers, with the wages being unofficially passed on by agents to the interested clubs.Chelsea may have a slight edge as they can throw players into the deal, but Eriksson would love Anelka back at City and has pushed him to the top of his shopping list.Source: Mirror

Italian agent Sabatino Durante has questioned the wisdom of Chelsea's pursuit of Corinthians teenage midfielder Lulinha.Durante, in Brazil on behalf of an unnamed big Italian club, told Tuttomercatoweb: "I can only give a technical opinion and he is physically very small and does not have a clear role. It's difficult to determine whether he is a winger or a central midfielder. "Yet, Chelsea seem to be interested in him. Apart from the fact he cannot play in England as he does not have a European passport and is not a senior international, his agent seems to be a great salesman."Source: Tribal Football

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido won't shut the door on Chelsea trying again for star fullback Daniel Alves. Blues owner Roman Abramovich is expected to make a new approach for the Brazil international after being priced out of a deal in the final week of the summer market. Del Nido said: "We are open to everything. I am not going to consider an auction, but if a crazy offer arrives, we will study it. "For now, there's been no offers for our players." Yes, of course it is The Drogba stories are not going to go away unfortunately though....
-
Ahhhhh, still i don't see what this has to do with his future!
-
Well if thats the case it would be frigging ludicrous......
-
I'm not sure they are saying we are going to spend £30m on him, i thought they were saying that us and Arsenal had £30 available to spend..
-
Weird, i thought the Olympics football was U23's or something like that. Last time i checked Didier wasn't under 23....
-
Oh well, thats great isn't it. This ACN time is going to be a real pain in the backside for us, 2 first class midfielders and 2 first class forwards mising from action for a very long time.

Looking at the team, Frank is the most likely player to score. But i wouldn't want to put that sort of pressure on him. Frank's quality will be there and he will no doubt have an excellant game.
