  1. Chelsea Football Club today received the following correction from The Sun following a complaint to the Press Complaints Commission. Under the headline "Chelsea JOB", the newspaper said: On September 26 following comments by former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello, we reported Marco Van Basten had been offered the Chelsea manager's job. We now understand and accept this was not the case and are happy to make this clear.Source: Chelsea FC
  2. Ah, the Lampard roumers, havn't had one of them for a while, i guess it was time for another...
  3. Yup he looked a tidy little player, there is no way we should be anything over £15m for him though otherwise it will just not be worth it.
  4. Maybe, but he isn't fit enough and that is why he isn't training.
  5. The Anelka story refuses to go away. Most papers today saying we are going to sign him in the January window.I would prefer us to show a bit of ambition and go for someone better than Anelka, but we will have to wait and see what happens i gues..
  6. It is a very good thing that he will not be rushed back for this game, and we can allow him more rest too with Derby and Rosenborg our next 2 games. A fully fit and working JT is what we need....
  7. Another problem Sheva is facing is that he is not suited to the 4-3-3 formation really. He needs to get a few games and a few sub appearances would be a good start, but you would think he would get a run out against Derby..
  8. No doubt vastly re-worked from what actually happened, if indeed anything happened at all....
  9. I don't think it is, there are going to be as many of these "flash forwards" as there were flashbacks in previous series.
  10. In view of what we have heard about the extra training Sheva is getting i would think that they are waiting until he is fully ready before bringing him back into the team. I would give him a go now and see what the difference is and then asses it again.
  11. Definately, going in a whole new direction...
  12. It will make a lot more sense once the new season gets going....
  13. Exactly, i would say money isn't an issue
  14. There has always been money available, we bought Belletti and Malouda in the summer and was prepared to spend quite a lot of Alves too. I am sure in January and certainly in the summer there will be plenty of cash around for us to spend
  15. I am sure your right, the ruling is a bit crazy and is stopping the more talented players comming to the premier league.
  16. There are countless reasons why we shouldn't buy Jermain Defore, the main one being - he can't even get a game in the bloody Spurs squad and he is cack...
  17. Absolutely, it's about time we started picking players up again in their prime or just before. We lost our way little recently in that respect but we need to get back to it.
  18. The main criteria for us when it comes to a striker is someone who can operate as a loan striker with support from the wings and from midfield. I think Huntelaar will be able to this job very well and get better with time..
  19. Not sure how long it was but he did sign a new deal.
  20. Well yes there are ways around things like this, one way is to ask for a work permit due to special circumstances, i.e exceptionally taleneted.I would be against anything that meant he didn't come here straight away....
  21. Would prefer Huntelaar purely because he is younger and still has a lot offer and can adapt better at a younger age to Premiership football..
  22. One of the worst transfer stories you are likely to see......
  23. He is 18 years old and plays for Reading...
  24. Well his value certainly should be more than a million if we were to sell him in the summer, he will be on a long contact still so we should make £3m/£5m for him...
