lol, would be very nice for us. Man you the only team left who are a big obstacle...
-
Absolutely, Lampard is and always has been top top class and there is no-one that comes close to him! Sinclair has always done well when given a chance for the first team, but this one was a big one for him, it will still be hard for him to get games with the players ahead of him there is but he certainly deserves a chance...
-
Sahar had a sensational first 3/4 of last season where his rise was meterioric. Since then he has really struggled, and this season his form has been very very poor. The lad needs games again to get his level to where it can be, the talent is there and now we need to bring it out again, could be a good move for him if he gets the games.
-
This will be very very interesting, if for no other reason than to see what team and formation we go with. Having a fully fit squad for the first time is going to be a great thing and now we need to see what we can do with that squad. I think most people would like to see Anelka and Drogba tried together in some way and i think that is very likely.

Nice win and a decent performance. Great to see JT back. Lampard and Mikel were great, Lampard showing us again why he is the best. A great performance from Sinclair as well, good to see him showing what he can do for the first team, was unlucky not to score - took his oppertunity to impress very well.
-
Anything but Man you basically.... Can we be kept apart until the final???
-
Lampard = Legend - enough said....
-
It certainly seems like they will be given the chance to play together, no if that is in a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 with Anelka on the wing - who knows..... i think they have the ingredients to make a fantastic partnership. Anelka playing off Drogba in theory should be dynamite, only time will tell though.
-
Good man, should be a cracking game...
-
Of course it will, Alex has been top class. But the fact is JT is better and is our captain and leader. JT and CArvalho is strong than Alex and Carvalho. We need to have our best team out for pretty much every game now as we want to win every game we play in. Alex has played a massive part this season - and propably more than he expected to.
-
Also completely accurate words!! JT does so much on and off the pitch in a leadership capacity there is no-one else like him. And he is a world class Centre Back too!!!!
-
I know absolutely nothing about Charlton at the moment, so i have no idea what his competition would be for a place, but i am sure he is good enough to be a regular there...
-
Because the BBC are w**kers and have not got a clue what they are doing. They regulary f**k up the squads they publish...
-
I agree, but it will be harder for him at a prem club! I like his style, it's what i like to see from a winger, running at defenders with pace and trying to beat his man. Would rather see that than the slow short passing approach...... He needs games now, he has had some good games for us this season and last and a good couple of loan spells. After Saturday a good run of games till the end of the season at a team chasing promotion would do him the world of good.
-
Yes, the rest of us love it
-
Lol, the magazine is pretty unoffensive to be fair, what you would expect from a club ran magazine. Kenyon is a Chief Executive, by their very nature they are fairly unlikeable. But i will agree with you on Barnett!! Ban that t**t from match days.....
-
Really? Blimey, i hope he is properly ready and not rushing back too fast.
-
All the big clubs are all about the money making, which is why Man you recently did that trip abroad during the season and the pre season trips are always to places that "have market potential"...... the businessmen deal with the business and the footballers play the football, unfortunately thats the way it is.
-
He needs to get regular games though, it looks like it could be Charlton after the weekend which would be good for him. If he can do well there over a period of time it will put him in good stead for next season.

Leicester City have been told they are not good enough to sign teenage Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair on loan. Foxes boss Ian Holloway was eager to bring the 18-year-old to the Walkers Stadium and thought he was on the verge of getting his man. But Holloway told BBC Radio Leicester: "We have now been told we can't have him. Chelsea do not want to let him go to a team that's where we are. "There's one struck off that we had half-planned and half-promised." Sinclair is back at Stamford Bridge after a loan spell at QPR but has fallen down the pecking order following Florent Malouda's return to fitness. Holloway thought he had a good chance of landing the England youth international but has been told they want him to play for a side near the top of the Championship table. He added: "If they do loan him out they want to loan him to a club with a chance of getting in the play-offs because they want him to experience that." Holloway was also previously manager of Bristol Rovers, from whom Sinclair joined the Premier League giants in July 2005. Source: BBC

Well the only way anyone will get the fans to metaphorically suck them off is to lower the ticket prices to a reasonable level - and at the end of the day that is all we really care about other than the football. But again not likely to happen - especially while we are selling out every game
-
Ooooppss, erm - i i meant the tea lady is a lovely lady Ahhh, tis a nice dream but it's not very likely to happen is it? All the business side is a load of bollocks as far as we are concerned, but they go through the process of advertising all the marketing crap to appeal to new fans and to make us look good in the media.... it's all a s**t but what can you do. Get someone else in his place? Won't make a blind bit of difference.
-
Lol, well don't ask Kenyon then. All he cares about is how popular we are in other countries, how good our sponsorship deals are ect.... at the end of the day team affairs mean jack to him - it's not his job. Besides we don't need to particularly like Kenyon, as long as he does his job why should we care? It used to be the 11 players on the pitch was all that anyone cared about, these days everyone is a wannabe businessman/manager/scout and need to approve of every level of the club right down to the tea lady (who incidently is a right old cow!!)
-
Lol, what would someone else have done differently? He was brought in to make the business side of the club better!
