The setting up of coaches does worry me because it means that the club are still serious about leaving him in charge. We are still minus a fitness coach though so it isn't a suprise that another coach is being mentioned!

I think we should get excited about Kakuta, he is a sensational talent come from nowhere!! I have been watching the youths and reserves for years now and he is the best talent i have seen for or against us! Belletti is a weird one, he can be great or poor, there is no middle ground. Ferreira signing a new contract was an odd one because everyone assumed that we would sign a right back probably Alves, and even Ivanovic plays right back...

It is certainly a sorry state of affairs. Hopefully it will be cleaned up nicely, and we will know better how Roman is being led by how it is dealt with.

I agree, it wasn't a suprise to see Frank and Drogba not playing, although they should have been on the bench incase it wasn't working!

Unfortunately i can see him moving back to the Director of Football job in the summer!!! I hope i am wrong but i think it will happen.. The club needs a major overhaul and Roman needs to do some clearing out, not just at player level, but at staff level too.

Still can't see it happening until the end of the season. The results have been good, but when it has come down to it when really needed tactically you can see he is lacking! Barring some seriously bad results we are stuck till the end of the season...

I would have said that it is about 80/20 now want him out! I think that we will see the return of the chants wanting him out ect..

Frank did an interview on Chelsea TV during the FA youth Cup game and i am sure he said he didn't travel because of an injury! Might be wrong though....

I wouldn't disagree with that at all. But he has lost everything that made him what he was, mentally i am not sure he can recover with us, especially considering we can't afford this season to give him a chance to recover. Unless we start playing 2 up top i don't think Sheva will make a comeback for us...

Can't agree on Kalou. One of our best players at the moment and we don't look half as creative when he isn't there. His scoring record is top calss this season too, only 1 behind Drogba and i am sure he is top of the assists. The rest of the dead wood can go. Unfortunately Sheva is done and dusted now, watching him for the reserves was painful, a player of his class who can't even play half decently against Reading reserves has had it if you ask me.

I don't think Roman can seriously justify keeping Grant on! We have no chance in the CL and PL and we blew 2 seriously good chances of winning the domestic cups, we will probably never get an easier shot at the domestic cup double....

Lol, Jose spent a fortune on players in his time thats for sure, especially that first season where big big money was payed for people like Carvalho, Ferreira, Drogba ect... Jose did something special with our club. And now i want to see a proper manager come in and take over where Jose left off, we need to have someone who knows how to manage a big club with big players and develop talents into big players.

Agree with pretty much all of that. Jose made some very poor signings, and he did inherit a better squad than what Grant has, but Grant plainly isn't going to be good enough. We will get a real sense of Roman by watching how he deals with the current situation! He got rid of Ranieri to bring in a better manager. We had great success. For whatever reason that relationship broke up! Roman has made a massive balls up by giving Grant the job. Now we see what sort of person Roman is, will he get rid of Grant? And if so who does he bring in?

Agreed! Lets not get carried away with the "ANYONE other than Avram" thing!!! We need to get a proper manager in now to sort this mess out...

No American showcase this summer!! We are off to exploit the market in Asia this time around... And if Grant is in charge of the squad still at that point then things will not be looking good..
