Typical golddigger. She got what she wanted, now she can fuck off at last.

Kante is miles ahead Ramires in everything besides pace mate. Not fair to compare these two with all the respect for Rami.
-
And if Matic regains his form from the last season, we have another dimension in the midfield. We can basically play any style we want if that happens: pivot of Matic and Kante, or Matic and Nainggolan, midfield trio of Matic in more defensive position and Cesc and Nainggolan/Kante in front of him, Cesc as DLP behind Nainggolan and Kante.
-
Get Kante & Nainggolan, sell Mikel & Oscar and we are set for the midfield.

Our board? I knew you weren't a Chelsea fan from the first post you've written.

What the fuck? Why don't we just go for Ricardo Rodriguez who is an excellent LB and Arsenal are already in advanced talks with Wolfsburg to sign him for 20m? What are we doing?!

Still raw, and is prone to concentration lapses and making mistakes that caused some costly goals. However his all-round performance has been very good since Spalletti took over. He plays as a center-back and as a right back, but he's apparently said that CB is his preferred position. We haven't played him as an RB much but I remember the first time we played him there and he was amazing (I don't think it worked the second time though). He's great at timing his tackles and has bailed us out when we had players in the box. IIRC earlier on he was very physical, and would take advantage of his athletic physique to win the ball back. It had varying results and sometimes landed us in tense situations which caused unnecessary fouls that were very close to the goal. His crossing has been his biggest issue imo and we've seen it all year. At times he shows signs that he's improving it but other times it's been piss poor for the most part. All things considered, I really like him. I think he has the potential to be very good for Roma and for Germany. He clearly likes the club and our team (just head on over to his social media accounts to see that) and I very much hope he stays. I have to say though, that if selling him, Sadiq, Sanabria, etc means we hold on to Pjanic, Manolas and Nainggolan, I won't be too sad to see him leave. From Roma fan. He isn't what we really need, we need top class CB, not some average raw guy with big potential. We have enough of this. Bonucci or Koulibaly or Manolas are all much better. I'd be dissapointed if he is our top CB signing this year. He's average at best.

Come on Filipe Luis and El Nino! Hope they win the trophy! Also cheering for my countryman Oblak. He's fantastic.

I may get some hate for this but still... I think he will be massive success at United and will stay over 3 years there. Why? He has a lot to prove, this is when he thrives. He has to win over the fans (he didn't have to at Chelsea) & members of United board that were against signing him. He will watch his every move so he doesn't offend United players/fans/board/Fergie. He will have the backing of the United players after a lot of them were unhappy with Van Gaal's boring football that doesn't win matches (yes, Mourinho is boring too, but he wins you games, at least). He has to prove to all the doubters/media/pundits that he is still the top manager. One of the greatest managers in the greatest English club - media will suck United's dick and so Mourinho's too (look how they are already manipulating everything in Mourinho's favour - he doesn't play defensive football, he's good with youth, he's respectful to the FA/refs - it's the Chelsea that are bad etc.) He will watch his words, become friends with media and a true gentleman - I can guarantee you he won't be this grumpy bastard he was here. He would rather die than let Guardiola be the better one in Manchester and that's what United's board want too. He will have unlimited transfer budget to build great team (United already has really good team). It was his dream to coach United since Fergie retired - they're good mates too. I think he will be a big success there, winning a lot of titles with United, I would even bet he will win the league next year. I hope not, but I think he will be great for them.

I think the difference between him and Mourinho that we will see is that Conte has no invincibles. While Mourinho continued to start underperforming and unmotivated players, what it seems like in this article and from what I've heard is that Conte has no intention of allowing players to start if they don't put in 100%. I agree with you that players may not respond, but it seems as though Conte isn't going to put up with their shit.

In Italy, Conte is known as a martello - a hammer. He pounds away at you and never stops. It doesn’t matter whether you’re John Terry or Kenedy. Reputations interest Conte little. Nor, as former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has found out, is talent enough on its own You’re only as good as your last game, your last training session. Conte wants you to sweat. “Eat grass” was the maxim at Juventus. He expects you to cover every blade and make the same sacrifices he did as a player. Fail to do that and you’re out Pirlo rates him as the best coach he has ever had. A measure of it is Conte’s knack for telling his players how he believes a game will unfold. They have lost count of the number of occasions things have gone exactly how he said they would and are left in awe. By anticipating the problems they will encounter, he’s also able to give them the solution they need to prevail. The preparation is meticulous The job Conte did at Juventus is a strikingly similar to the brief one he has at Chelsea now, The Bianconeri had finished seventh in back-to-back years. They were out of Europe altogether. But Conte immediately and improbably restored the Old Lady to her throne, where she has sat ever since

One of the best left backs in the world... and he's off to Arsenal as it seems. This is probably the best time to buy him. He's only 23 and Wolfsburg won't play in Europa League. What the fuck are we doing? Kicker is very reliable. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/652838/artikel_wolfsburg_rodriguez-vor-dem-absprung.html#omsmtwkicker

We should sell Ivanovic, Mikel, Oscar and Remy this summer. And of course not extend the loans of Falcao and Pato.
-
It may be unpopular opinion, but I really wouldn't mind us selling Willian. We would get nice amount of money after this season for him and he wouldn't be difficult to replace. He's good player, but he just doesn't have enough skill/flair for the modern winger. He's a workhorse, but I much more prefer technical skillful wingers.
-
If there's a position that needs the least reinforcement it's our attacking midfield/winger department. Why would we buy him for a lot of money just for the sake of it? We don't need him. We won't play 3-5-2 and even if we would, we have Oscar, Fabregas, Willian and even Hazard who can play there. We don't need new RM either because we have Willian and Pedro there. If he could play just behind the striker in the 442 (I like to call it "Tevez role") then he would be an interesting option. Otherwise, we don't need him.
-
Thanks. He's not what we need then.
-
Don't want this clown at Chelsea.

Yes, it makes a perfect sense. Let's say you go to the market in Morocco with your girlfriend. She sees a necklace and wants it it. You go to the man and ask him how much it costs. He says 30€. You know that's too much for this necklace, in reality it's worth around 20€. That's why you say you'll give him 15€ (a bit less than it's worth or you risk pissing off the seller) for it. He declines and says that it's 30€. That's when you go to the guy next to him and ask him how much his necklace is, he names the price but it isn't important, because you only want to show the first seller that you have options. Then you come back to the first seller and say, okay I offer you 20€. 99% of the time you will get it for lower than first asking price. That's how you make deals. In your case you would buy the necklace for 30€ and lose 10€ that you could spend on the dinner with your girlfriend.
-
I don't watch Bundesliga, so can anyone answer - can he play just behind the striker in a 442 formation?
-
I'm glad you two aren't in charge of the transfers at Chelsea. If that was the case, we'd get milked like a fucking cows everytime. Bidding the actual price of the player straight away? What the fuck? I can see and I also feel a little bit of frustration, but come on. I'm sure we're walking on many offers behind the scenes.
-
Emenalo with the banter.
-
Chelsea FC owns the Jose Mourinho trademark until 27 June 2023, thus preventing Man United from using the name for any commercial purposes. United will be like PES in real life, using Hose Mourenho as his name.
-
Bonucci: "Joining Conte at Chelsea? I will stay at Juventus without any doubt. I'm fine in Turin & there's no reason to make a change." Forget him. Go for Koulibaly/Benatia/Manolas instead. In that order.
-
I think you understood me wrong. We are paying "only" 35 mil for him, because we already got 30 mil back when we sold him. So in reality we are paying "only" 35 mil for him, not 65.
