  1. hahahah.. ya so aguero wont score a hat-trick. probably a brace or something. time to make some updates in FPL
  2. spurs vs city? does not that simply mean an aguero hattrick?
  3. actually it was noble's fault. noble did a number on KDB all through the match but just switched off on that instant. watch it again, noble has kdb covered but then ball watches and leaves him free, the ball is passed to kdb and the defenders just dont come out.
  4. i would say i agree with that BUT, he has to be given a chance to prove himself before we categorize him as such. liverpool was a shit loan spell and BR screwed with him and his playing positions. his first season with chelsea was good. he got some cup goals and in europa was our best player. after that, he has not got a chance.
  5. get your facts right and then start an argument. please. 100 passes, 10 long balls, 4 unsuccessful ones and 86% passing. which means 10 other unsuccessful passes and i would love to see which areas of field it was in. i am happy that we won and city lost. also, i gave my opinion of what i thought our players were. people are quoting me (like you are), i am not individually forcing you too. also, lets leave the fan boyism out of the conversation and accusing someone of being unhappy that chelsea won.
  6. thats the point. i dont think he would be "wrong". twice in 2 years, he has gone to city and produced a brilliant performance (last year with stoke and he was immense in that game too). i think he would have been a better option that rambo on the right even if that was a tactical call.as for it being a "grass is greener syndrome", i disagree on that. people wanted him to start community shield and swansea game. so he was pretty much being considered good enough for us when he was here.
  7. a couple of things i disagree massively on: oscar's link up play was brilliant. cesc DID lose the ball plenty of times when in and around the box. whether it was while he was trying to pass the ball with 6 arsenal players around or whatever he does in close quarters.
  8. i have already said, why i said what i said. "controlling" the mid is a weak argument to me cos its like saying herrera "controlled" the mid against us at the bridge. NO. arsenal conceded the mid. their plan was obvious. keep trying to put walcott behind our CBs. our CBs were good or walcott was poor. as for oscar, i thought he was really good, both in defence and offense. i remember 2 instances where oscar was tracking down sanchez/monreal but cesc was no where to be seen. cesc for all the possession in the world, created 1 good chance from open play, thats it. he lost the possession multiple times in good positions and screwed 2 easy counters. PS - city lost. so a doubly good weekend.
  9. but that was my point. people say he is not "chelsea material" yet we bought the likes of cuadrado and salah. or had kalou and malouda. as for willian, he is a brilliant player technically. has a massive workrate and would be a good option to have thru the center. but on the right wing, he is average. he plays cos of his workrate and protection to ivanovic. his crosses are poor (something which should be a primary aspect of a winger). and his dribbling is more suited to a CAM (sideways driblling which generally creates space for others by taking an opposition player with him). but on "beating" his man, willian is okay. i think moses is better in these aspects. as for end product, i totally agree. but i dont think willian is a lot better in that aspect. anyways, right now, we have pedro, so i can understand. but there have been times when moses would have been a great option to have had in the squad.
  10. made to play as a CAM and then dropped. hard to judge him on that. we have had players like salah, cuadrado as our back ups and we have been unable to even rotate cos they are so shit. wait a minute. as a right winger, is willian really better than moses?one of the biggest drawbacks of moses is that his end product is poor, but so is willian's.
  11. his exodus for 3 years is one of the biggest enigmas for me. very good defensively, good in attack. would be a brilliant squad player/replacement. seems like such a jose player. gives his all on the pitch. yet has been exiled 3 times now. while buying 35mil of salah and cuadrado. ENIGMA
  12. i should grow a pair cos i have the guts to say exactly what i feel? hmmm interesting... anyways, the guy who got dispossessed 5 times. 5 freaking times was impeccable. some of the opinions on here!!!
  13. whoscored says he had a 100 passes with 86% success rate. 2 chances created (zouma and pedro).
  14. my analysis was simple. people say he created "chances", all i can remember is one chance to pedro from a brilliant ball. his close control was poor and he lost the ball many times in and around the box. he screwed up atleast 2 of our counters that i can remember off the top of my head. hardly a performance to be proud of, is not it?
  15. need to check your facts mate. u seriously do. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/20628-chelsea-arsenal/?p=1153571
  16. bego azpi papy jt baba rambo rlc kenedy oscar traore remy
  17. one to pedro and one assist from set piece. so not really.
  18. so basically 100 passes, out of which i would say 1 brilliant pass to pedro, 1 assist to zouma and...... not really sure about the rest. there seem to be 6/7 missed passes, i would love to see where these were, what area of the pitch and how prone we normally become in those scenarios.
  19. what i am trying to say is that, oscar covered for most of cesc's defensive liabilities which includes losing the ball and making the team prone to counters.
  20. no no. he had a greeeaaattt game. put in willian instead of oscar and i would love to watch how this game would have panned out on some of the loss of possessions that cesc had.
  21. i am not being negative. he had one great pass in that time (10 to 40) - pedro chance. arsenal were a massive threat (ramsey chance which he for some reason decided not to shoot) or the number of times walcott could have got behind but his runs were way off or we held a good line. arsenal gave the space in mid. its like people saying herrera "controlled" the mid when united came to the bridge towards the end of the season. technically yes, but how many chances did he create. same for cesc.
  22. oscar's sloppy passes were mostly in and around the arsenal D. take out cesc's "useless" sideways passes that took our game no where yet gave the impression of him "controlling" the mid, and the stats would be fun to watch. or rather, i would like to see how many of his misplaced passes were exactly which part of the pitch. zouma had a good game, nothing more. MOTM in the general sense that he scored and changed the game, yes. but in overall play, it was oscar for me, hands down and i dont like him either but i can say so without much problem.
  23. that was funny. its like both of them did not want to deal with it or the idea of sanchez winning a long ball with both of them there, seemed to make them disinterested. nonetheles, agree with, they are looking good. just push azpi to right and baba on left and we would look much better than our first 5 games.
