fabregas played a long ball against newcastle and arsenal to pedro. and i specified in one of my previous posts the difference between them. when did he play a thru ball today? also, by your whole logic, we should literally put in the same team that played against newcastle out against SOTON right? again the matic-cesc pivot, pedro-hazard on the flanks. i can see us getting over-run and outplayed at the bridge by SOTON. oh, how the mighty have fallen.

to attack, u need to have the ball. u can have the ball only if u win it back or the opposition conceded the ball to go on counter (which porto definitely did not do). A.taking him out was a grave mistake. B. taking him out and putting cesc as a DLP was a graver mistake.

i personally dont like oscar, but at the fucking least, he can do the job defensively cesc is probably the most over-rated player in the history of football for me. i honestly have never been able to understand the hype around a player who 1. cant win headers 2. cant shield the ball 3. loses the ball under the slightest pressure 4. is hopeless defensively.

first of all, i am not dropping hazard for kenedy. look at the team, i proposed. in this form, oscar is as good a player as hazard and a 100 times better defensively. cesc, lets not even go there. mr. no balls can produce one good moment per match. thats it. how much does cesc effect the team's overall play. u still did not answer a simple question i put forth. for a "creative" player, when was the last time cesc played a "thru ball". i cant remember one. cesc does far far far more bad than good. simply put, he will be OWNED by soton's pressing. any team that can press a little, can render cesc as impotent. he will lose the ball 10 times in the game, make us circumspect to counters and simply kill our midfield both offensively and defnesively.

what chances? what chances have they created that have led to goals? what have they done which has led to goals. cesc makes us inept. as simple as that. he is a liability defensively and when was the last time he put a through ball. for a "creative player", tell me when was the last time he played a through ball, not a quarter backish long pass which anywyas has a low conversion rate. and hazard. seriously? right now? willian right now is a much better player than hazard in this form. saturday will be about fighting it out. and hazard clearly is not on the level yet. so yes, this is real life where willian can score from freekicks or ramires can score a scorcher from 25 yards or RLC can produce the best attacking moment of the season.

oh. i see. u have put hazard and cesc in your line up. the FIFA way. unfortunately life is not fifa. its not linear. things dont happen according to your rating or your name. it happens on the effort u put in, it happens by grinding out and fighting for a result.

i find today's reaction a bit OTT to be honest. the way our season had panned out so far, i did not give us a chance. a lot of people even called me out on being "disinterested". i mean what did people expect to happen today? we would suddenly out of the blue, start playing slick one touch passes. i mean, i honestly dont remember the last time we put in a through ball. oh wait, remember RLC's pass to kenedy. but he was never going to get a chance today. i am simply happy that we showed some fight. mikel and ramires were immense. willian was quite good in the 2nd half. azpi was as awesome as always, so was begovic. the underperformers are there for everyone to see - iva, cesc. all i blame him today was starting these 2 players.

i ll shift oscar on the wing and ramires for kenedy and make it a 3 man mid.
