that was a one off (or so i hope). dropping those 2 points to juve while giving them 1, plus so many things could have gone differently (like mata and hazard scoring their one v one in juve match and winning the match). (all said i still believe juve and shakhtar were the better teams in the group)... its just that i dont see wht rdm did wrong in the group stages... even the juve match, i ve to praise him for benching torres and starting with the best possible 11 to get the result we needed... it might not have worked, infact it turned out to be a disaster but in my opinion RDM got the tactics right on the TURIN night.more than rdm's mistakes and tactics it seemed to me that chelsea as a team were not as good as the other 2... maybe i am way off...

cant say u r wrong... but atleast that would have been the team i would have put in at the moment... mata seemed so fatigued in the swansea match that i dont think that he atleast would play... plus u also have to take into consideration of what if another midfield player getting an injury/suspension would do to our squad until those 2 nigerians come back... would be disastorous...

this is where we differ then...

that is such a harsh way to judge RDM. would u be saying the same thing if we had lost to napoli last year and then we had concentrated solely on the league and went on to get a 3rd or the 4th spot... i dont know what rdm did with wba to have u doubting him so much... but for CFC he was doing a fine job... yes, we had some big hiccups, had our ups and a single DOWN which was when we threw him out...

firstly , dont get y u r getting involved. secondly, i m not judging any1. some people have a problem when it comes to their own opinion... what ever u say will never be good enough for them even if they are totally and blatantly wrong and saying it in general (world wise where people would do anything to hold on to their opinion) and not just about one particular person here. arguing and debating is somethin not what every1 is good at. moreover i dint insult any1 by using any kind of foul language or i dint say anythin against that person's character. all i said was "arguin with him is like banging your head on the wall"... if u find that derogatory to a fellow user or something of that sort, then well i dont care because i dont think i did anything wrong... i have seen the kind of shit that is written here and towards each other (go to lampard or torres thread), and this statement of mine would not make the cut anywhere...

the only difference between us was that i dint need to give the FSW a fair chance to know that he sucked and was a piece of crap and absolutely worthless. also i can see that u have an ongoing argument with the bushguy (name changed not so subtly)...a word of advice - please ignore because arguing with him is something like this :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

just one difference,i m guessing his wba team dint have the likes of mata, hazard, lampard... and if past is the only way to judge a person then i would like u to remember a more present past which was 19.05.2012... that is RDM being the CL winning manager... a very conviniently forgotten point when people are debating over rdm's credentials and if he was good enough...

again with malouda and benayoun??? and again with a lot of depth??? where is the depth i dont see it... i see 5 players competiting for 5 positions... even if all our players were here which are just 2 more its 7 for 5... look at united... young, valencia, giggs, kagawa for 2 positions. persie, rooney, welbeck, chicha for 2 positions... cleverly, anderson, fletcher, carrick, scholes for 2 positions... now thats depth... and believe me we dont need 6 players to get injured to get exposed, 1 or 2 would probably do the trick. and i am not obssessed with keeping piazon here, i am confused with the absolute stubborness of people of sending every single youth player we have to a loan spell even when it was very clear how thin our squad was. meireles was sold in the summer, piazon was loaned in the winter when it was obvious we wont be having even moses and mikel. the point is i want to see chelsea having 18 players who can actually play (11 starters + 7 subs) and win a match...

chelsea under rdm played 12 points 24 chelsea right now played 23 points 45 so, chelsea under FSW played 11 points 21 simple mathematics shows that chelsea were better or at the least as good or bad under rdm than we are under FSW..

what development are u talking about? how many loan spells has kakuta or bruma or bertrand had? if loan spells were the only way then these guys should be superheroes by now...as for What do you think would happen if Piazon stayed here? He comes on in the 70th minute and scores and saves Chelsea's season? read my first comment again and i have clarified what my expectations from him would have been... as for 4 matches , tell me how many points can we afford to drop to get out of champions league reckoning... mata, oscar , marin are our ONLY options... ramires and lampard are our only true midfield options right now... so in short for a team playing 4-2-3-1 with 5 midfielders we just have a set of 5 players out of which 4 would probably be already drained out of every ounce of energy left in them and the other one is so unused that it makes me question his credibility... as far as malouda and benayoun are concerned, i think last night has already shown how much a part those 2 would be playing for us this season. so 4 games, out of which 3 will be pl (reading, newcastle and wigan), i would very much risk the development of one youngster when we have already sent a batallion of them for loan spells (josh, chalo, kakuta, bruma, kalas, hutch, ulyses davila, kdb, van aanholt etc etc) than risk 9 or more points of pl and this may just be the starting... what if an injury to the 2 of mazacar or somethin horrendous of that sort... piazon loan spell was unnecessary...

turnbull ferreira cahill JT bertrand saville luiz marin oscar (any kid from our academy) torres... give oscar the fucking ultimatum of putting in a good performance or fucking out... last night i think he came with a mindset of a stroll on a beach... i know left wing is not his normal position and he is not comfortable playing there but he should have atleast shown some enthusiasm. he dint track back all night, he could not hold the ball if his life was on the line, his crossing was abysmal... this should be the game where he should be given a chance to show his true quality... i hope its of the highest order...
-
THIS.... :worship: honestly i cant remember when the fans started caring more about the club's pr and t-shirt sales more than the effort put in by the players...
-
i m talking about the fans who believed in the "RAFALUTION"... who so vehemently said that rdm was a novice in the world of professionals and had no idea about anythin he was ever doin and that FSW would probably make us the ünbeatables"... defending FSW after the 0-0 draws to begin with because "he dint have much time to work with"... then defending him through the cwc fiasco or our home matches... those our the kind of fans i was talking about... and believe we have them here in wholesale..

did u see yesterday's match and the subs we had got? it was marin, torres, luiz, jt, fer, bert... 4 defenders + 1 striker + our only squad player left in a match where we needed to score atleast 2 goals. what does that tell u? mal and yossi are out of the picture. they wont be given a run in or run out for cfc anymore. plus i still dont understand your thinking? suppose hazard gets a 3 match ban so that would rule him out of reading and newcastle. we are 1-1 in 70 mins in those matches with the best attacking option from the bench in the mid in the form of LUIZ/RAMBO just because we wanted to "develop" a player in 6 months. what do u think is gonna happen there? piazon suddenly turns superman...
-
i hope u mean per week... otherwise u r no better off than hazard...
-
i think firstly a full body check up. admit him into ICU just to be safe, i mean hazard toe touched him, its no small matter. then i think he ll probably need psychiatrist help to get him out of this awful position. after that to make him happy we should probably give him lots of candies and cookies, girls, i mean whatever he wants, just make him the king of the world...
-
i bet thats what a lot of GENIUSES want to do with him right here. i mean reading the comments some people are writing is hilarious. i mean "he let his team down", really? how by giving a shit about the match and trying to get on with it when most of our players seemed to be sleepwalking thru the match.
-
still think we should have loaned him??? 6 months on a loan spell for him could probably spell disaster for us in the coming weeks (depends on hazard's ban). and no i dont think piazon would have replaced hazard and got into the 1st team and made us win matches single handedly but it would have been nice to have a name on the substitute bench who u could actually use in a PL match or some1 who we could play against brentford in our next match...
-
NO. hazard should repent for what he did. he is 21, right? imprison him till the age of 75 so that every day he can understand the magnitude of his henious act of quickly getting the ball back into the play... and then he should be hanged...
-
his leg touched a 17 year old boy when he was trying to get the ball from under that fat ass. IMO hazard should be given a life time imprisonment with no parole... END OF STORY...
-
in all the hazard fiasco, we almost missed the grand performance of this tactical genius... i must say that i understand what all the people were saying that rdm has no know how and FSW was way better. now i have a suggestion for all those people, please give yourself a pat on the back. you guys along with the chelsea board have ruined a potentially great team...

nothing hazard can or could do can ""hurt"" the image of the club than it already has been. we are the ""rich, spoilt, bad boys"" for the english media and the footballing world in general. swansea had probably trained their ball boys to do this because it wasn't just one but all of them, which is a bit of a disgrace and disrespect towards the game. Anybody would be frustrated. i remember a throw in for which mata had to run back about 10-15 metres to give the ball to azpi because thats where the ball boy had thrown the ball. if anythin it is swansea who should be getting the stick... by the way what the hell was the ball boy doing in that position anyways... behind the goal and in front of the banners. i mean is not tht the goalies ball to retrieve. i remember cech being yellow carded against barca for being slow in retrieving the ball from behind the goal. but obviously no one would question that. IMO, hazard does not deserve the stick he is getting for this. he might have "hit" the ball boy but it was merely a toe poke to get the ball from underneath the boy. there are so many flying tackles and shit in football but this is not one of them. i dont think hazard had any intention of hurting the kid which is the most important thing for me.
-
he tried to kick the ball from underneath that "kid" who is apparently 17 years old...
