2 big matches tomorrow. so who are your guys supporting. liverpool vs united - pool. i feel united is our main competitor for the PL and far more than pool anyways. arsenal vs spurs - spurs/draw. arsenal do have a knack of going on a run of wins which can be dangerous. also i want them out of CL,once and for all. what about u guys?
-
the worst era of roman's reign won us a CL, an FA cup and a EL. a lot more than what we acheived and won in any 2 years of his best era. man-utd, tottenham and arsenal are totally overlooked but one man city side whose physicality does give mata problems should be the sole criteria to judge him. by the way mata's performances against city and our results against city should tell u exactly how depended we are(were) on mata to win us games. bayern munich and barcelona - 10 men were behind the ball and we had "officially" parked the bus with just drogba up ahead but u wanted mata to create something when he recieved the ball about 80 yards from the goal. seems easy, heh? how many total attacks did we have in 300 minutes of football in those games? no sense of responsibility - what was barca then? his defensive frivolities should not be taken as lack of responsiblity. that statement is childish and downright degrading to a person who puts his heart out there every time he wears the blue shirt. by the way u were saying something about him not being our best player. u dint say anything more on that when i pointed out to u that mata was not only chelsea's player of the year but even the fan's player of the year too. NO COMEBACKS? cat got your tongue? speaks volumes.
-
never turns up on the big games?? so united, arsenal, tottenham are not big enough for u? 0 pace and no sense of defensive responsibility. hahahahahahaha mata IS our best player. he was awarded not just the chelsea player of the year but also the player's player of the year. that should tell u exactly who even the professional players think is our best player.
-
even mata is playing a side role so far and probably lukaku has more minutes than juan does in the 4 games, so by that, will u say that lukaku will play a bigger rile than juan. plus kdb has started 2 out 4 games, one of which was an away game in the den of the champs. and we had plenty of options to replace him with. so thats a definition of a side role for u? our first match was hull city - was an easy match with nothing much problem but to expect mou to try on youngsters in his 1st game incharge would have been childish. but still lukaku, mvg get sub appearances. kdb starts. our 2nd match was against villa, who had just outplayed arsenal at the emirates. not the ideal match for squad rotation. lukaku, mvg get sub appearances. our 3rd match was against the champions of england in their own den, (kdb - starts), and our 4th match against champions of europe (lukaku get a sub appearance, plus a big responsiblity which he unfortunately bottles up). mou has given the youth a lot of chance and its not just "lip service"
-
accpeted but you think playing mikel-kdb in the pivot with bertrand, lukaku and schurrle starting would get us 3 points at goodison park? one of toughest places to go to and get a win. i seriously have my doubts about us winning the match with that line-up or jose playing half the people in that line-up. after the everton game we have basel and fulham at the bridge plus swindow town in carling cup. so plenty of matches for squad rotation.
-
why no hazard? or etoo? i mean its everton away in PL, not carling cup.
-
line up expectation - cech azpi luiz JT cole ramires mikel willian mata hazard etoo line up reality cech iva cahill JT cole rambo lamps kdb oscar hazard torres. anyways, a tough game to go to goodison park, but expect a goor performance from the team. 2-0 for me.

DD- such a legend...

Having a different opinion.

dude, you actually went and checked all those thread and dates just to counter this guy!!! waste of time, i gotta say... -
would be a poor decision. everton away is one of the toughest fixtures.
-
because mother nature is a cruel mistress and wanted us to experience exactly what bayern did 2 years ago. (she is probably being kind to us because the trauma of losing a CL with a goal conceded in 88th minute would be far more than what happened tonight)
-
oh, so now its mazacar's fault. seems legit!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: i personally think its because of the dropping indian economy. must put torres under a lot of pressure. anyways, coming back to reality and normality, still unsure about torres. cant keep him for finals only. if a good offer (by that i mean anything north of 15mil comes in), sell him... otherwise a year under jose wont be the worst thing, we have seen. also with etoo here, i am confident that if torres does not perform, he would get the boot.
-
lets see. i remember his work-rate being good against us when we played shakhtar. plus as good as schurlle was today, still think willian is different level (or maybe he just had 2 of his best games against us, have not seen him play at all excpet for that).
-
as i said before, my motm for tonight. but his performances in finals, UCL, EL and today make u wonder why he cant do that against weaker opposition with no pressure and way lesser limelight.
-
keeps getting better better and better. but that miss is unforgivable. u simply cant do that against a team like bayern.
-
but then u cant say "sort of agree with sam" because he wants jose to attack bayern with 10 men and a goal lead to protect.
-
our team is not ready to challenge the likes of bayern for control of the game. we can have all the best attacking mids in the world, but the harsh truth is only 3 of them will play. also our pivot is weak, and our defence is SLOW, which makes us a very very easy target for an exceptionally good counter attacking team like bayern. if we were to play a box to box or open game against the likes of bayern (united, i feel we would have come out on top), we would have gotten thulped.
-
LEVEL OF STUPIDITY. our team under RDM was very different to the one we have. i mean cech iva cahill luiz cole rambo lamps schurlle oscar hazard torres is so different from cech iva cahill luiz cole rambo lamps/mikel mata oscar hazard torres. this dude deserves a standing ovation... seriously...
-
the number of poster slagging u should be enough proof of how thoughtless, mind-numbingly stupid and idiotic your arguments are. calling u a caveman was a mistake on my part because atleast they gave us fire while u on the other hand r simply useless. what chances did bayern create in the first half... they created shit... also by your ideology, we should never stop attacking because nothing guarantees not conceding, right? for the last time, u had a problem with the way we played after scoring the goal. in your own words you said " we dint even try to score a goal". yet a couple of post later u said, "we should have committed more men to the counters" which is in total contrast on your 1st stance, because it means we were countering and playing the same way even after scoring the goal. we dint get the 2nd goal but it was not due to lack of trying, which u accept as u do accept that we were countering. so why dont u give up, save some face and try to call it a night.
-
i can already visualize a trio of hazard-oscar-willian against big teams on away fixtures. counter the hell out of the teams.
-
90 mil??? i would not listen to an offer less than 100mil and if its tottenham, double it.
-
u do know how counters are done. it is done by inviting the players of the opposition team to attack, commit their players to the attack and then either by a long ball (if u have DD) or burst of pace (like we did today). u dont do it by pushing a team like bayern up the pitch, u genius caveman!!! also our conceding had nothing to do with our tactics, it was a piece of brilliance. secondly we had control of the game, which does not mean having the ball or possession. we were good on counters. we were looking like the more probable team to score everytime we started a counter. on the other hand, we reduced bayern to no chances and long shots. that is what control of the game means.
-
our counter attacks after the first goal were exactly like the one before the goal. tell me how the first goal was scored. hazard with a driving run thru the center finds schurrle on the wing who drills in a cross to find torres who scores. who played the ball to hazard-torres from an iva throw in (i think). OUR FRONT 3. no one else from the team had the last 4 touches or was even 20-30 yards from the goal expect from our front 4 ie, hazrd, torres, schurlle, oscar. and what about our counters after the goal, same things, nothing changed. the front 4 still remained as dangerous but could not find the last ball. there were a couple of counters after the goal which proves this just like the ones before the goal. i am starting to doubt if u r really a troll or simply THAT STUPID.
-
ohhhh,,, i get it... i ll try to speak to him in his goo-goo-ga-ga language.
-
in the match, he was brilliant. but the way he consoled lukaku after the match... hats off,,, future captain...
