anelka was a carlo favourite, was not he? same goes with mikel. i would say bosingwa.
-
talk to me when u grow up and actually understand the difference between a PERFORMANCE and scoring goals. i tried to and wrote essays in previous posts about it but seems it all went over your head.
-
whu vs fulham next week. if whu dont win i expect sam to get the sack. if fulham dont get a point at least - jol to get the sack.
-
i m not confused. i know exactly what i want. but i dont confuse my hatred of united to be chelsea's love as in some cases.
-
after reading the comment from the PC, i feel he is going to change the team considerably from the whu game. i hope mata get a start but i cant see him displacing oscar the way he is playing so far. anywyas this is the team i would want to watch play cech azpi luiz cahill bert mikel rambo schurlle mata willian torres. after this match we have 3 matches in 6-7 days against southampton, sunderland, stoke. i would oscar, hazard,JT to be starting all 3 of them hence the rest.

he dint decide to go with the current squad??? so how many defenders were united even linked to? how many other strikers? wingers? the only position moyes even tried to improve the squad was in the middle cos they are so hopelessly exposed in it. u really need to understand things before rambling on about the same thing over and over again. i dont love him. i just feel he needs to be given a real chance. a true chance. i dont think he has done anything to deserve the blind hate u r giving him. so how is the CR situation moyes' fault? is any1 here in their right mind (except for u), even comparing moyes and saf. i really doubt that. plus to say things like RM would have sold CR at this point shows how muc u know about RM in reality. we are talking about a team which sold one of the best play-makers in the world just to increase their brand value to buy another flamboyant winger in bale. RM would not sell CR for a 100mil. they dont need to. they make more money out of him every year anyways thru shirt sales and sponsors and every1 knows money is all the RM president/board care about. so by your logic players like anderson, nani, young, buttner, fabio, smalling, welbeck, chicharito dint need to prove anything since they got a PL medal last season. GREAT POINT.

we had a squad of DD, sheva, lamps, JT, make etc all in their prime. for united except for rvp and rooney, who can u say is in their prime or even close to the squad we had at that point of time. as for united, i have no doubts that they ll make top 4. people are underestimating them which is not good.
-
i agree that moyes was not the best choice for a manager for a club like united/chelsea. but to judge him on this united squad inspite of united being 5th and just a point behind city is WRONG!!!!. if i ask u this question - rate the PL squad on their strengths and class, united will come 4th after city, chelsea and arsenal (in that order), atleast for me.
-
i did bother reading your post and was simply confounded. so i am not gonna bother arguing with some1 with such blind hatred. CR would have their? how do u know? was SAF able to get hazard, moura or oscar when he wanted to? NO. he did have the oppurtunity to spend but he decided to give the PL winning squad the benefit of doubt to prove themselves. suprisingly how baines was so happy but fellaini came in. so dont think u make any sense there. you hate him, good for u. torres is a very quality player, something which is very contradictory to what i have seen for the last 3 years.
-
manu had pool (a), city (a), chelsea(h) in their first 5 fixtures. tell me thats not tough. their squad last year was as bad as this year's. at the start of the last season, no one gave them a chance to win the PL. it was SAF that made them a champion. united's real "class" of the squad can be understood by their performances in the CL where the shitty nature of their squad left them horribly exposed.
-
precisely. SAF was there for years. yet he dint win anything for his first 4 years but people are already ridiculing moyes after 4 months. united have had a tough fixture and to be honest how many of us actually thought that united have a PL winning squad compared to squads like ours or city's? it was SAF's genius that made them a PL winning squad. nothing else. right now they should be fighting for a CL spot and by the looks of it that is what they are doing.
-
since u will conveniently ignore, the facts about herrera and when united actually bought fellaini, i wont bother to go into it. we paid MORE, infact double for torres than RVP. what a joke. mistakes can and will happen. he would have been able to get players if he had splashed money. but what u have so easily ignored is that moyes has been given the assurance of time. in his first matches he tried and tested all the players of the united squad and since then players like anderson, young, nani, fabio, buttner, have been considered deadwood by him. he just dint want to overhaul the whole squad as soon as he came in. he gave these players their chances and now will make his move. on the other hand, even some1 like SAF was not able to pull players like OSCAR, HAZARD, MOURA and they were taken from right under his nose. i believe he is a decent man and a decent manager. to compare him to SAF is unfair. infact to compare any manager to SAF is unfair.

wow. u really are an idiot are u not? lukaku's age is a FACT. he is 20 years old, i know that. but if he performs poorly, no one is going to hear this age excuse because now that is the level of expectation from him. "it has nothing to do with luck." read what i wrote in the bracket after that. guess it was asking too much of u to do that. i ll help u by writing it in bold and in a bigger font. (lukaku did not, he took both his goals very well) now please stop bull-shitting and for once write some sense.
-
all your statement tells me is that u definitely dint watch the match. also lukaku's age is not a thing that he can hide behind. he is a striker who aspires to play for one of the best clubs in europe (4th ranked to be precise), who is a regular starter for a team which has an outside chance of making into europe. also u can get lucky in scoring goals (lukaku did not, he took both his goals very well), but that does not mean that his overall performances over a period of 90-odd minutes becomes phenomenolly out-of-the-world.
-
moyes did not bring in fellaini. he wanted ander herrera and it was the united cheifs which spoilt the whole deal with some stupid money dealing thing. in their desperation for a mid-fielder, moyes went with the safest option he could think of anf that was FELLAINI as moyes has alreasy played with him and knows the guy. united the champions cant defend since they conceded 3-4 goals to reading and were generally outscoring teams rather than keeping clean sheets even in the last season. u should really know what u r speaking about before just going on about it. as for today, united have a big injury problem. they do not have carrick and fletcher thru injury. jones and vidic too have niggles. same with rafael. he put in a most obvious team that was possible and that team was winning until the last minute of the normal time. dont see how all this points out as moyes and me being deluded. rather things point otherwise.
-
no need. its a must-win for them. we can take a 0-0 and still be more than just happy. basel on the other hand know that their one and only shot to go thru is getting a win, hence they would get more desperate for a goal and play to our strength, ie, counters.
-
atleast he tried putting in a tackle for wba's 2nd goal which was more than what luiz did for newcastle's 2nd. remember that??? letting anita go thru like he was messi. also i remember ameobi nut-megging luiz. world-class defender indeed!!! also, the aguero goal. seriously!!!! u need to watch more football dude..
-
oh come on!!! what wrong did moyes do today??? waht does he do if his team cant defend a set-piece or if rooney cant put the ball in the back of the net 10 seconds after cardiff equalized.
-
i agree with selling mata for the right price deal. but i would wait for the right time and that is summer. the season is LOOOONNNNGGGG. not even one-third of the league games are done, we have (hopefully) about 10 more cup games to play and are yet to even officially qualify from the CL group. so lets wait. trust jose to do the right thing (and by the looks of it, he has been doing the right thing), and then make a call at the end of the season.
-
it all depends on the manager and your team. i remember demel going past azpi-hazard and then frank in the 80th or so minute. this is just to point out that hazard was defending deep even in the 80th minute and not taking things lightly. and a big cheers to him for that. compare this to city. their front 4 have been set to just play attacking football. nasri/navas/silva dont help their fullbacks the way our wingers do, not even half of it.look at oscar and how deep he plays sometimes to help our pivot, u dont see that with aguero. and i feel this is one of the main reasons for city's pathetic away form. u can argue that we have not been much better than them away from home but our away fixtures so far have been tough (united, everton, spurs, newcastle) compared to city's (cardiff, sunderland, villa, stoke and just one good team in us). inspite of these fixtures we have managed to rack up more points. so as i see, its the way, u r setup to play that will be the difference. mazacar played all this fancy football last year but at what cost? i personally would rather see us grinding winS than see us play beautiful football in one game and then losing the next one.
-
the logic in saying someone has played poor or even pathetic , yet has scored 2 goals is not hard to understand. the statement means exactly what it says. lukaku was a passenger for the majority of the game. he dint win a single aerial battle, lost the ball almost everytime he touched the ball, missed 3 1v1s before scoring and that would have been almost useless if allen had not missed a sitter. even i would prefer an ST who scores goals vs the one who does everything but score goals but the "performance" of the player can not be determined only by the goals scored but by his actual performance in the match.
-
spurs and united - hahahahaha...
-
he keeps falling back from the strikers, he is not good enough and blah blah blah,,,, but in the end, he is getting picked ahead of luiz and he is doing a much better job.
-
why rest JT? he has played 1 match in 2 weeks' time.

bvb are 7 points behind bayern, and just feel that bundesliga might already be over. it will surely be over till the start of jan. now i just hope that bvb dont make it to the knockout rounds of CL. then we should really have a go for this guy. cant see them refusing 20-25mil for a guy with just 6 months on his contract and with literally nothing to play for.
