This is turning into a thread very similar to one of our players!!! Like lionsden said "mikling" a 20 minute perfoance for all its worth.
-
Rojo is actually a CB who played as a LB in the wc.Blind is also supposedly close.
-
there was someone worse? who exactly? also what does "20 minutes of good play" mean??? i am giving him the credit he deserves. congratualtions to him on playing 20 minutes of good football after 45 minutes of pathetic and 82 minutes of average football. i ma focusing on the poor cos there are so many of them to focus on!!! there are 2 things which are the most important aspects of a great football player, consistency and attitude, something which oscar has been lacking for a long time now. he might not have been the sole reason for our poor first half performance but as far as i can remember he should be taking the lion's share of the blame.
-
we are discussing oscar here. which includes 20 minutes of good play and months of crap. he was not our only poor player but he was the worst of our players. he is the link man for our attacks. azpi had his hands full and could not link up at all with hazard who was isolated for the majority of the 1st half, schurrle is more of a runner. the onus will always be on oscar and cesc to build an attack but when your main man loses the ball almost every time he touches it, the team is bound to look poor. hence the reaction. he is someone who is not going to score and assist much, but he is important in the build up and the link up play. but when he puts in such performance, its not schocking that we looked this poor in the first half.
-
I definitely would want him to succeed. But not at the the cost of the team's success.
-
I did watch the game. Like I have watched every gane this year. 20minutes vs 8 months. And again, why do people keep forgetting HOW poor he was in the first half. The number of times he lost the ball and made us circumspect to counters.
-
which part exactly? the part that she voted for oscar as motm? or the part that oscar has a lot of "potential" but has not yet reproduced it!!! or maybe this is the best of oscar we have been seeing for the past 8 months now or that he does score goals/assist as much as ozil/mata? those are facts!!!
-
i dont think she said so. infact, she has actually voted for oscar as her MOTM in the match thread. oscar is the no.1 no.10 for chelsea and brazil cos he has "potential" something which he is clearly not reproducing on the pitch. no.10s are supposed to be the most important players of the team oscar is far from it right now. infact oscar is not a no.10 like ozil and mata are. he wont have their number of goals and assists. what he does have is phenomenol workrate and most importantly link up play. but on days like these when his touches and decision making is as bad as it was, he becomes a liability to the team. he is the main link between our defence and the forwards, and when he plays poor, the team will tend to be poor. also, any positives from this 20 minute spell can not outweigh the immense number of negatives that oscar has had over the 8 months.
-
dint play today for koln!!!
-
when he does something slightly good technically u praise him, yet when he does something slightly bad, there are essays written of how bad he is. considering that, if u had actually watched the first half today, i expected a 10 page long post from u about oscar.
-
he was atrocious in the first half and had good 20 minutes in the 2nd.
-
people like barbara asking fans to "get behind oscar". can someone just go to the rambo thread and read some of here comments!!!
-
go to the first page of the match thread. i said "my team". and oscar simply proved why it would have been the best thing. but like i said, lets wait for the everton game for what team jose sends out. and for chelsea's sake i hope it does not have oscar anywhere near it. it snot just about winning combo but actually gicing a fair chance. and both of us know jose enough to know that he loves sticking to a the same team. infact forget about jose, most of the teams that played today played the same team that they played last week. u just dont go chop and change after one game. common sense, i would say so. cos none of the players' performances was as horrendous as oscar. none of them have been a tenth as poor as oscar has been over the course of 8 months. how difficult is that to understand? dont u worry about me. i will still support chelsea. whats more i still support torres when he is on the pitch as much asi would support iva. but considering some of your comments and posts, i know how u would react if our "golden boy" does not start, especially for rambo.
-
you want fucking facts then lets talk fucking facts. rambo was suspended for the first match, our best line was matic-cesc pivot. hazard was a dead on starter, who else. willian had as much time in pre-season as oscar. oscar would atleast have been bloody match fit considering he played games in the world cup compared to willian who dint. today, it was the right thing to simply start with the winning combo. or do u think jose thinks azpi is a better LB than luis? its the start of the season. even fucking kdb got 2 starts last season before been told to fuck off!!! let oscar perform like the way he did in the first half twice or thrice more and i wont be suprised if he is tolf to fuck off too. what good moments are we supposed to rejoice in? in the lat months for chelsea oscar has scored 2/3 goals and assisted 2/3 goals!!! what should we be fucking glad about? should we party that oscar put in a good pass to iva yet simply neglect how bloody pathetic he was in the first half. that he lost the ball almost every fucking time he touched it?? talk about hypocrisy and prejudice. god forbid if rambo had put half as bad a performance as oscar did in the first half, i know off a few people who would have been jumping down his throat in the rambo thread. but god forbid any1 says anything about our golden boy!!!
-
oscar plays as a no.10. a withdrawb no.10. mainly as a link between our forwards and the dms and defenders. his every touch was poor, every decision was poor. what our people supposed to do? forget how pathetic he has been for 9 months cos he had a good 20 minutes in the second half?? we are not short of options in the AM position. cesc can play and willian can play... whats more they can do what oscar can do and a 100 times more. also, jose definitely dint critisize oscar!!! oh wait!!! u know what... lets wait for the everton game to see what team jose puts. just like most of the big away games like city, pool, atm last season!!!
-
i have never said this but considering the comments here, is it something like the brazilians HAVE to support oscar no matter what!!! he was our worst player on the pitch in the first half. how difficult is it to accept that??? against a team like everton we need more solidity in mid and i think rambo will start. so in short its oscar/cesc/willian for CAM, i have no doubt in my mind who SHOULD NOT start.
-
anyone... anyone who puts azpi over iva as a RB, i go batman on their ass!!!! let not your prejudice judge the team. courtois iva GC JT azpi matic rambo schurrle cesc hazard costa oscar out without a doubt, rambo in for more cover to the defence.
-
pathetic first half, brilliant second half. every player played his part in the 2nd half. coutois- what a performance. brilliant saves. has totally and completely repaid jose's faith and hopefully shut the mouth off most of the idiotic journalists. dint put a foot wrong. 10/10 iva- despite courtois brilliant performance, he gets my MOTM award. brilliant in defence, amazing in attack what more do u want from your fullback. if costa had passed that ball, he would have got on the score sheet too. but somehow people will still cry and crib about iva being on the team ahead of luis. hyprcrisy and prejudice!!! has put in 2 world class performance in our 2 matches so far!!! what a player!!! GC-JT - covered well. specially after we went a goal up they were solid as usual. the worst moment was when matic gave away the ball for a 3 on 2. GC did well to hurry nugent. also, JT's tackle in the 1st half was just brilliant. 8/10 azpi - got skinned in the first half. seemed like he was chasing shadows. also no link up with hazard in the first half leading into hazard being totally isolated. made up a bit in 2nd half when both him and iva got up more. 6/10 matic - 2 massive mistakes that could have cost us dearly. other than that, he was decent. 6/10 cesc - defensively he was poor today. so many times the ball was played around him. infact oscar atleast put in a defensive shift in the first half to cover for him. exactly why rambo with matic would be much better. 6/10 oscar - pathetic performance in the first half. seemed like he was not even interested. i have no doubt that he got a jose smacking in the HT-talk. good shot and a nice ball for iva to the goal. i will be suprised if he holds his plays against everton. 6/10 hazard - what a goal!!! thats what he does best. produces moments of magic in the game. 7/10 schurrle - ran a lot, specially when it seemed that we had changed to 4-4-2 with him and costa at top. ran behind the defence but only to be played once by cesc. some decent link up play too but nothing special. 6/10 costa - in all honesty, he got owned by 2 championship defenders today. first touch was poor, hold up play was poor. but that 50-50 chance that he took changed the game on its heel. and that is what strikers are for. 7/10 subs: rambo - that run was awesome, the finish was not. deadly when we are countering and he showed why on multiple occasions today. i think he will be starting against everton. 7/10 willian - brilliant cameo. absolutely brilliant. that turn was marvelous. another wonderful option to have off the bench when countering. 8/10 DD - what an ovation. moment of the match - when roman joined in the standing ovation. absolutely loved it!!! that ball to rambo... orgasmic. the way he got that ball on the edge of the ball before hazard took it down the flag - brilliant. still seems a little off the pace. 7/10 good win. we would have dropped some points last season for sure on such a game. nice start to the season.
-
^^ this is coming from a torres fan. that pass to rambo should be telling off his class. if DD had needed to run and if we were 1-1 or 0-0, you would have seen a different performance.
-
somehow after we win a match his poor performance gets labelled as a good workrate performance!!!! lets call it as it is... he has been poor today, he has been poor for the last 8 months since this year started. anyone who cant see that must be blind or prejudiced!!! he needs to step up and show that he is worth the hype in the 2nd half. cos right now, he looks absolutely PATHETIC.
-
oscar!!!! does he even want to play!!!
-

Again, when u say "rediscover" form, u make it sound like cech has been out of form or in a poor form for the last 18 months. I totally agreed with your point of cech declining and that is the issue here. Cech was not poor by any stretch of imagination.
