It feels to me that the days of our first team being filled with talismanic Africans is over or is at least coming to a end , with the club moving on through choice to fresh young talent from other continents , most noticeably South America. Whilst Essien may still have a important role to play if he hits form i think Roman is mindful of the commitment African players have to their Cup Of Nations , and is looking to kick off a new exciting legacy of Brazilian players in a team that through the inclusion of such players can bring their more flash elegant style of play which Roman so craves to the Club. Anyone agree ?

Completely agree we need to give them more chances even if it does mean taking a risk or two on a less established youth outfit.

The point im trying to make is that Guardiola only refrained from commenting becasue he did not wish to take atention away from the game. even if he is 100 % sure he is staying he would not say as this would be changing the subject , therefore i feel the comment about waiting for a more suitable occasion ( most likely to confirm his position ) would be more appropriate and does not make him any less or more likely to come to us than before the comment.

it actually only takes 30 mins less on the way than it takes you Londoners and its getting on for an hour longer on the way home (5 hours including changes ) on the way home on the slower trains , would have been 60 quid but im going on the earliest and the latest trains of the 6th off peak
