I think when mourinho signed him he had some faith in him, and yeah he'd play him for some games, the trust things, his signing, and i'm sure even after the Torres thing he would have had a bit more of a run out I reckon. Since Avram joined his confidence must've hit rock bottom, Jose wanted him and that was a big + when a manager like that wants him, tbh I think he's still a handy player to have as a reserve, someone who wont complain for reg football but someone who's not the worst CB in the world. I think it's fair, Grant gets no respect from the players, Jose has installed their winning mentality, there is something missing in them which is a good manager. Clarke does as much as he can but he's an assistant, he's limited. Dont tell me Joses team and Grants team play the same because they dont, Mourinho knows how to hold down a win, This clown doesnt, his subs are uninspired and team selections and often formations are cack. The man is clueless he really has to go, saying the team manages itself is not an overstatment. On the game itself, the first half was poor, extremely poor. 2nd half, better unlucky not to have a couple, but still annoying how they came back. I am not too miffed as I took my best mate (Mike you'll remember her from Everton (H) last season) and she came to see her faviroute player Essien score, so she was chuffed really. I was glad. As close as we've been getting to Man Utd it feels a bit like false hope and in a way i'm glad it's over because it just could have ended in heartbreak at the end.
