Not fully convinced. Saying that however, I was impressed with him when he came on for England vs Spain, I remember thinking i'd like to see him playing the box-to-box role more.

Jesus christ you lot are ridiculous sometimes: -Wigan were playing with 5 defenders, and defended very deep. -Nobody was complaining when Romeu was taken off which allowed Mata to play centrally to make the attack more potent. The goal still didn't look like coming, even after the change of formation. -Now AVB could see that another goal was unlikely, and therefore rather risk it, he chose to protect the lead. You lot wouldn't be complaining if we'd have won 1-0, you'd be praising AVB for his tactical subs. - Mata and Sturridge do little defensive work compared to Kalou/Malouda. - Drogba was kept on the pitch because he can defend corners/set pieces. -It was only a gk error that cost the match, how could AVB predict that? This one is on the players, not the manager.

Affane, Nditi, Swift, Feruz and Ake really impressed me tonight. Typical reliability from Kane/Chalobah as well. Piazon looked out of position to be frank, but it wasn't a particularly flowing performance so it was difficult for him to show what he can do. More power? He's got the power, just needs to work on the placement. He could have had 2 tonight.

Amazing turnaround from the first 20 mins or so. Romeu and Ramires were both brilliant. Not forgetting, the atmosphere was incredible, to everybody on the forum that was at the game, you've done the club proud.

Haha...Well Somen Tchoyi has proven effective on the wing for WBA at times...
