I actually thought Drogba played well. Put himself about the pitch well. His hold up/link up play was also very good, which was lucky because we seemed very insistent on playing the long ball over the top from the defence (probably because the midfield couldn't get anywhere near the ball).
With Sturridge, Mata and Lampard playing from the start, we would've won. Another thing, i'll be very disappointed if we don't step up our efforts to sign De Bruyne. He could be brilliant. Very intelligent player.
Kalou/Malouda would be the obvious choice for me. EDIT: Can someone phone the BBC and tell this commentator that 'Romeu' isn't fucking pronounced 'Ro-moo'.
Probably one of the reasons players ought to be banned from using Twitter. Too many people using it as a gateway for abuse, case in point being the guy who wished Jack Wilshere's baby die of cot death, a disgusting act within itself, and yet he (the Spurs fan) tried to brush it off as 'banter'.
Well, the club have mentioned naming rights numerous times as an extra source of income. You can hang on to your hope all you want, but its highly likely that it'll be something soulless like the 'Samsung Arena'. Football is a business.
It won't be called anything involving the words 'Stamford' or 'Bridge'. Face it, naming rights will go to the highest bidder. Sad, but true. Best thing we can hope for is the club gets a decent return on it.
