SSN reporting he has told Santos he wants to leave.

Bored of the highlighter colours.

Try changing the numbers at the end of the url on the Utd site, brings up players such as Fabiano... Doesn't mean a thing.
-
Haha you're probably right. Anything to make the fans feel important eh?
-
Anyone noticed the web polls on the official site? Last one was based on the priority for a new signing, the new one is who should fill the 4th CB spot (new signing/youth). I wonder how much the outcome is taken into consideration.

^Probably a precaution, gave a solid performance for an hour, good time to come off, avoids any silly injuries.

That was the 1st bad pass i've seen from Ramires all night, and he still chases back to get the ball.

"Chelsea target Asmir Begovic will push to leave Stoke City - if Tony Pulis does not make him his number one keeper. The Potters shot-stopper is wanted by the double winners who have offered £4million for him just months after he joined Stoke from Portsmouth. Begovic played at Stamford Bridge - and lost seven goals - in one of his rare appearances at the end of last season, but the Bosnian-born star is still seen by Chelsea as a future number one for them. Stoke have ruled out the move so far, but Begovic will not settle for being second in line behind Denmark World Cup keeper Thomas Sorensen and will try to get to Chelsea if he is just a reserve at the Britannia. Begovic would be willing to fight for a place with Petr Cech, knowing he would make more glamour appearances at Chelsea as cover than he would get as second string at Stoke. Stoke boss Tony Pulis faces a tough decision on the keepers this weekend after bringing in Begovic as a long-term capture and then standing by Sorensen." Source No direct quotes, and i've no idea where the £4m figure came from, but interesting all the same.

Really well worked 2nd goal. Ramires doing his job well, being available and giving it quickly.

Neymar's movement is excellent, both on and off the ball. Would like to see him play more on the right side cutting in though. Ramires to me has been very impressive, always available for a pass, always near the ball no matter what section of the pitch, likes to play the short passes keeping possession. Definitely the type of player a team is built around.

Just scored as well. Great header.

Paulo Ferreira was actually one of our better players on the day, and has definitely proven some critics (like me) wrong. He showed that he is still capable of producing some great displays and can provide us with cover at RB. Kakuta wasn't on the bench as he played in the U19 Championship and deserved a rest. Even if he was on the bench, there are players ahead of him that needed some game time ahead of the new season.

You need to realise that Ancelotti will not just drop our best players for a group of unproven youngsters, despite their age. The reason the youth didn't play yesterday was because the first team need to get to match fitness, even if it was a friendly. We lost Ballack/Deco/Belletti/Cole because the club is trying to build a successful, financially stable, future. If they've thought about that, surely you would think that they have a plan for integrating youth into the squad?

Sinclair's move to Swansea all but done, just waiting on approval. Fee is £500k, could rise to £1m. http://www.swanseacity.net/page/Latest/0,,10354~2116585,00.html

You are right, we do need new blood. But can you seriously see the club dropping the established players and replacing them all with new, young signings? Youth has to be slowly integrated into the team, they have to learn how to play our system from the older players. We are going through a transition, with many older players set to leave over the next few seasons, and there will be players introduced over that time. It is a gradual process, don't think that the club hasn't planned for the future.

So true, personally didn't understand the overrating of Scholes' passing, especially when the ball to Sturridge from Essien got no reaction whatsoever.
-
Hilario wasn't that bad, he didn't exactly have that much to do did he? No doubt that Cech certainly fills me with more confidence though. Sturridge was good, he has shown that a left footer cutting inside is very effective (think back to Robben). I still believe he should play centrally in the absence of Drogba though, there is no way Anelka can lead the line again this season, his positioning was all over the place. It's still only pre season, don't forget.
-
Cole has been alright going forward, seems to lose his man at the back a bit too easily though. Anelka is not a centre striker, he needs to be playing wide with Drogba in the middle. Kalou has shown some good touches but has a serious lack of composure when it comes to the final ball. Ivanovic and Ferreira have been playing well i think. Hopefully we'll see Sturridge at some point (if he's fully recovered from injury).
-
Looks like he could very well be off for good, would be the best thing for him imo...Is it me or is Van Aanholt not on the list either?
-
Awful defending.
-
Erm Lampard....What was that?
-
Against a young, pacy winger (such as the HSV player now) he doesn't fill me with confidence.
-
Ferreira's age is really showing. Anyone else nervous when the ball goes anywhere near Turnball? GOAL LAMPARD

Finally. Great play from PVA.

The stream will go back to the match after half-time (at least it has every other time i've watched).
