  1. Ancelotti apparently today confirmed he (as well as Rajkovic) are going out on loan. They are looking for destination clubs now. Source
  2. Ramires will not play any part tomorrow, Ivanovic is fit. Bosingwa has started running again, Kakuta/Bruma still injured.
  3. Had a feeling it might go that way, especially as the press conference was due tomorrow. Being moved forward could mean Santos' president cannot wait to confirm he's staying. Also heard Santos dismissed the idea of a loan deal (although that was just twitter talk).
  4. Looks like we will find out the outcome of the negotiations later on tonight, Santos have called a press conference at 1830 local time: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.santosfc.com.br%2Fnoticias%2Fconteudo.asp%3Fid%3D22730&sl=pt&tl=en
  5. "Latest on #cfc move for #neymarin #dailytelegraph tomorrow. Been developments today...." From the Telegraph's football correspondent.
  6. Really sad to hear, good luck to him in whatever he decides to do next.
  7. It says 290000 Euros a month = £240k a month = £60k a week. Anyway time for another report, this time claiming Santos are preparing a case against Wagner Ribeiro: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fmsn.lancenet.com.br%2Fsantos%2Fnoticias%2F10-08-19%2F810576.stm%3Fsantos-prepara-processo-contra-wagner-ribeiro%26utm_source%3Dredessociais%26utm_medium%3Dbotaonoticias%26utm_campaign%3Dtwitter&sl=pt&tl=en I'll be glad when this is all over.
  8. Outlines of the deals he as been offered (supposedly): http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lancenet.com.br%2Fsantos%2Fnoticias%2F10-08-19%2F810825.stm%3Ffutebol-chelsea-propoe-r-13-milhao-por-mes-para-neymar&sl=pt&tl=en
  9. I thought that translated, it meant that he thought Neymar wasn't ready to play in England?
  10. During the 9 hour meeting on Tuesday, Santos allegedly presented a very good case for Neymar's future at the club, which led to Neymar saying he needed more time to think about his decision. He said he would meet with his family and decide on Friday. This is my understanding of the situation, someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
  11. And now The Independent are reporting that Chelsea officials are considering withdrawing their offer: Source Also mentions the other Brazilian targets, anyone have any idea of the other young players Buck was referring to?

  13. One way or another, looks like we'll find out either tonight/tomorrow.
  14. I didn't say he wouldn't, I said IF he is out... Either way my point about Anelka playing central and Sturridge playing a part still stands.
  15. http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lancenet.com.br%2Fsantos%2Fnoticias%2F10-08-17%2F809722.stm%3Ffutebol-keirrison-%25E2%2580%2598so-o-neymar-pode-decidir%25E2%2580%2599&sl=pt&tl=en
  16. Since when did SkySports get added to the list of banned sites? If Drogba is out, I just hope we get to see Sturridge play some part, rather than Anelka play central for 90mins.
  17. SkySports claiming both Lampard and Drogba may miss the game: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_6318340,00.html
  18. TalkSport interview with Buck if anyone is interested: http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/weekend-sports-breakfast/blog/2010-08-14/buck-ashley-cole-needs-new-image
  19. I don't think he is overrated, his talent is obvious. The problem is that people are expecting too much of him so early on in his career.
  20. In all honesty I can't see him moving to us, not in this window anyway, where would he fit in? Unlikely that he'd be happy to sit on the bench / be constantly rotated, especially in the 4-3-3 system. Surely we'd have to revert back to the diamond?

  22. "Soapy and angry. Neymar tried to escape the questions about his future during a press conference he gave on Friday. The boy kept the speech that he is not aware of any offer from Chelsea, his father, Neymar dos Santos Silva, and his agent, Wagner Ribeiro, do not you have anything. - Neymar is the Saints. Neymar is the Saints - he repeated, as if chanting a mantra. He is player of Santos, is a fact. His contract still in force and expires in 2014. Thus, the question was redone: - You warrant, then, that remains in the Saints? Neymar uttered in a mixture of impatience and irony, the following: - Neymar is the Saints. Are you deaf? Finally, faced with more insistence of reporters Neymar escaped. - Do not know (whether to stay or go away). Nobody knows tomorrow." Looks like he was avoiding answering questions about his future.
  23. He is speaking at a press conference now, anyone have any idea what was said?
  24. Lampard a doubt with ankle injury, decision will be made tomorrow morning.
  25. So it was reported that Buck met with Neymar + agents, as well as Ribeiro...And now were being accused of tapping him up even though the president of Santos was reportedly there? Think i'll just try to ignore this whole saga until it reaches it's conclusion.
