  1. Two good goals too. People should honestly stop comparing Lukaku to Drogba - especially this early in the former's career.
  2. I actually think it makes sense to loan him out. Unlike other young players, he actually has a mature game. He will get his playing time
  3. I thought Essien looked good in this particular game - much better than Mikel at least. Brought some composure to the game in the second half.
  4. Looked decent with his movement and little touches. Just couldn't get his long shots/passes off (probably because of the pitch)
  5. Don't worry. Presidents of Brazilian clubs don't seem like a quiet bunch. This particular one (or his staff) has been talking about this deal everyday, and I expect that to continue.
  6. I think the difference in physicality is overstated. I've seen some ridiculous tackles in South American games too. As long as he can cope with the pace of the game, he should be fine.
  7. Disappointed to hear that Lukaku switched his position to a defender.
  8. If he was so raw, he wouldn't be wearing #10 for Brazil. Just because a player is young and comes from a league you might not be familiar with, it doesn't mean he's raw.
  9. and check this guy's page: http://www.youtube.com/user/4lifeughh
  10. Not that I would care, but I wouldn't be surprised if we lose this one. They are in the middle of their season while it's the very first preseason game in a different continent with new players and some major players missing for us.
  11. That's usually the difference between a good penalty taker and a bad one LOL. Also, from what I've seen, both his placement and power are better than Mata's.
  12. Great opportunity for the likes of Lukaku, De Bruyne and Marin
  13. Drogba and Kalou have been reliable for us. Lamps Hazard Luiz Mata for me
  14. Seemed to be playing RW in training.
  15. He obviously deserves some credit but his biggest contribution was motivating the Old Guard by disrespecting them - something even a troll could have done.
  16. IF the reports are true, It will probably be Internacional making the announcement. Makes more sense time-wise. I remember Neymar annoucing his intention to stay around this time in the evening/night
  17. Portuguese journalist Brazilian journalist who works for Guardian

  19. I trust you. It's just that people hear what they want to hear
  20. Paulo Freitas ‏@Cynegeticus Ganso won't play for #Santos again, as Delcir Sonda (Sonda owns 55% of Ganso's economic rights) just confirmed to 'Rádio Estadão ESPN'. I don't really like him
  21. When the Guardian last reported the move as a done deal, they quoted 38M pounds (48M euros), and most reports have always had prices above 35M pounds. So I suspect it's gonna be in the 40-50M euros - a range I am not comfortable with for Hulk. Either way, my point still stands. I'd rather have Schurrle at 25M than Hulk at 50M. If Hulk costs less than 50M. I guess that'd be a little nicer
  22. 25M bid rejected according to Sky and Honigstein
