  1. The timing and that he said he's going to hold talks to see if it's "worth it" to play for Chelsea is a bit fucked up.
  2. I'm gutted he said this, but I don't think he meant it to sound as harsh as he did. He was delighted during the celebrations and the parade.
  3. Drogba just can't help scoring amazing headers vs. Bayern.
  4. Yeah, quotes taken way out of context and certain things left out in the articles on soccernet and such.
  5. Actually think there's a good chance he comes here; before we were huge underdogs in the CL final. Now that we've won, we have CL football and we can offer him week in week out playing time and great wages.
  6. It looks like it's down to us and one other Manchester club. He said both are great clubs.
  7. He looked ecstatic during the celebrations and the parade, so something just doesn't sound right here.
  8. Those comments are really, really disrespectful. I'm very disappointed. Though looking back, it's not really the comments that are disrespectful, it's the timing. Fuck sake Nando, it's been less than 24 hrs.
  9. Torres with some surprising comments. All taken from Guillem Ballague's twitter: "It’s contradictory because I feel like I’m at a peak moment in my career, with more desire and hunger than I’ve felt in a long time but I’ve had to spend the final on the bench. It was a huge disappointment when I saw the line-up, perhaps the biggest in my life. This season I have felt things that I never had before. I’ve felt like they treated me in a way that I didn’t expect...not in the way that was spoken of when they signed me. We’ve had a lot of talks and we’ll talk about my future because the role I’ve had this season is not for me, nor is it the one I expected to play when I came here. I’m not comfortable. I want them to tell me what is going to happen in the future. Football has been fair on us, on me. Now I do feel like football is worth it but I’ve been through a difficult time. The worst in my career. Don't want that again. There’s been many times when I’ve felt lost, I wasn’t sure what to do. I felt like I didn’t know where I belonged. I’m eternally grateful to my family who have been by my side and also for the support of the owners who have stuck by me. And especially to the fans, if it hadn’t been for them this season I would have given up. I need the club to tell me what is going to happen and what sort of role I will have within the team, what my duties are, what the club expects of me. And then judge whether it is worth it." Wow.
  10. We did what we needed to win. Deal with it.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNNhNFGb0aA The quote I posted is a little off cause the last time I heard this was last night, and I was drunk.
  12. "Now no one can say ANYTHING to me. This is why I came here." - Ashley Cole
  13. Yeah I read that he wanted to take a penalty but "wasn't allowed" So pleased for him.
  14. Whether or not he gets the job (I think he will), all I can say is THANK YOU ROBBIE! Legend.
  15. For all the concerns about the ref, credit to him, it was pretty fair. Refreshing to see in a CL final.
  16. honestly, it'd be best for him to leave. We'll all remember Drogba's last header and last kick to win us the CL!
