Mourinho's Real Madrid has one of the youngest squads in la liga. Payers like Ozil, Khedira and Di Maria were all around Oscar and Hazard's age when Mourinho brought them to Real Madrid, he was playing them ahead of much more experienced and established players, like Kaka, Lassana Diarra etc. Many people are starting to notice Rafael Varane, Mourinho brought him in when he was just 18 to play for the first team and has started him in all the important matches Real Madrid has played this year ahead of Pepe and sometimes Ramos. In one clasico he started both Morata and Varane, their average age is just about 19!!!, it's a myth that Mourinho cannot work with young players, if you're good enough, you're old enough for him.

The club messed up with Daniel, I hope it doesn't happen to Lukaku. To be honest, I'd have preferred a strikeforce of Lukaku, Sturridge and Ba to Torres, Ba and Falcao. Big money strikers at Chelsea have more often than not failed to live up to their price tags.

Graham Hunter isn't an expert, he's just one of those journalist that can't stop riding Barcelona's d*ck. Isco is exactly what Chelsea doesn't need, another number 10. He's a brilliant player but how are we going to fit Mata, Oscar and Isco in the same starting 11, without playing one or two out of position. The solution would be playing them on the wings but that is just a pure waste of talent imo. .

Sturridge was never trusted by Di Matteo, by the time RDM came to his senses it was over for both him and Sturridge, I remember the West Brom away game, where Torres was useless for 60 minutes, Sturridge was shifted to the centre and Torres was subbed, the dynamics of the game changed completely. He combined almost effortlessly with Mata and could have had a hattrick in 30 minutes had it not been for some great saves by Myhill and one or two bad misses. Sturridge has so much to his game, his passing, movement and general abilities on the ball are far greater than any English forward of his age, he'll go on to have a very successful career, it's just a shame it wouldn't be at Chelsea. Chelsea is just to hot for a young talent to develop, Sturridge was even booed by Chelsea fans at the Bridge, the only way the club can develop young talents in the current atmosphere would be to send them on loan at clubs where there's less pressure to succeed, and come back when they're ready to secure a first team position.

He changed the game for Liverpool today, his movement was awesome, and linked up very well with Suarez, he'd have been grabbing all the headlines if he had score to make it two two but then again even the best miss chances, Van Persie missed an arguably better chance in the first half. What a strike force Chelsea would have had, Sturridge, Ba, Lukaku, I get sad everytime I think about it.

Torres doesn't even put in an effort any more, he was just as bad as he is last season but back then you could see he really cared and wanted to pick up his form and the fans supported. Now he just doesn't care anymore because no matter how bad he plays he's going to be the first name on the team sheet. That is sickening, I think he's still young and should probably look to further his career outside Stamford bridge, maybe we should sell be back to Liverpool at a cut price, he's still adored there, and he can leave with the fat Messiah, the two still seam to have their hearts still set on Liverpool.
-
Glad we got him instead of Hulk and his huge price tag, he along with Dave have been absolute bargain signings for the club. I guess this is the new Chelsea way, no more spending huge moneys on players who don't deserve it.
-
I can see Sturridge scoring at least 15 goals for Liverpool by the end of the season, he's a big talent and he's finally found a club that is willing to make sacrifices for him such as pushing Suarez to the wings. I hope that doesn't come at the expense of Chelsea though, wish him all the best of luck at Liverpool, hope he bags a brace against Man Utd next weekend.
-
I think Chalobah is more ready than Mceachran for Chelsea first team action, he's a physical beast despite just turning 18 and plays well ahead of his age, he could deputize for Mikel when he's away on African Cup of Nations duty. De Bruyne could also be recalled to provide cover for Moses, I don't see any need to buy another player, unless Sturridge leaves, then a striker would have to be bought.

I hope Rafa finds a way to win this match but it's looking very unlikely. Over the weekend Mourinho was under a lot of pressure at Real Madrid, after his side lost further grounds to league leaders Barcelona following their loss to Beits. Mourinho did something that was truly amazing, he offered to come out 10 minutes before his players would warm up to receive the boos and jeers he deserved but begged the fans to cheer the team to victory against their fiercest local rivals, surprisingly he received cheers from the fans. Benitez is the exact opposite of Mourinho, he fails to acknowledge the fact that the fans have a right to air their displeasures. He fails to protect his players, making it hard for the players to "die" for the manager. He was totally wrong to blame the creative midfielders in public for being responsible for Torres' lack of goals. The team looks deflated, Benitez' man management and fans relation skills have been called into serious question once again.
-
I think Rafa is going to go ultra defensive on this one to stop West Ham's world class attack, We could easily see him set up like this Cech Dave - Ivanovic - Cahill - Cole Romeu - Mikel - Ramires Mata - Torres - Bertrand We'll probably keep another clean sheat. Yey!!!!

Roman is as much a fan of the club as anyone out there, he's been attending matches since he bought the team and shows so much emotions in the stands. To say he does not care after investing a substantial amount of his fortune and time into the club, is very absurd. The club has made a decision, it's up to the fans to get behind the team, the season is far from over. Rafa could be another RDM v2. I'll gladly be his fan if he wins us at least the league this season.
-
I for one, don't mind when managers are sacked, it is a proven formula. After Ranieri, Mourinho won the league and got close to winning the Champions league a couple of times, Grant did one better than Mou, by reaching the final when Mou was sacked, he was a John Terry kick away from winning. Scolari was a mistake, but he was duly sacked and Chelsea could have won the Champions league, had Overebo not put on his Barca kit. Ancelotti did better by winning the league, but his second season was below par and he was duly sacked. AVB, was being AVB until he was sacked, RDM won the Champions league and the FA Cup. I hate Benitez but I love Chelsea more, I hope he wins the league, the Club world cup and the Europa League? I don't know but I have a good feeling about this season. Chelsea has maintained consistency but unlike Arsenal are consistency lies with the players not the managers and the results are there to show.
-
Who are the fans going to boo more Rafa or Foy? It will take time for us to warm up to Rafa but I guess it's only a short term relationship. Has he apologised for his previous comments? Anyway on the match itself, a win will put us at least three points off the top of the table, which would be a great boost to a rather underwhelming recent round of matches. I just hope whoever is chosen to start give their all for the team, we'll need every player playing at their very best to win against City.
-
He should leave, he doesn't have the support of the fans of the management. I hope he finds a perfect club preferably outside of England where he can develop into a true world class player.
