  1. He was good yesterday but always fades out, in the second half i forgot he was on.. he doesn't have a constant impact on the game.
  2. I get what you're saying, but even as a squad player, we should be aiming a lot higher.. Also if we're in need of options we should be bringing back the likes of Mceachran, KDB, Chalobah, Kakuta etc not buying an average play like James Morrison.
  3. I just went back and saw my first post in this thread.
  4. So i guess we wont be getting Fellaini at the end of the week now?
  5. Actually i'll give you that, Fletcher is a good striker, not world class.. his positioning and finishing is great though. Now what about James Morrison?
  6. I agree, He just went to Chelsea at the wrong time.
  7. Yep. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/13885-james-morrison/ http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/14146-steven-fletcher/ Even though i'm half joking, i like Seb, he knows a lot about football and scouting in general, but i'm not so sure about these two..
  8. They get a lot of things wrong, but they are normally the first to report something happening in the PL... literally no paper is reporting it.. You forget the British Media first reported our interest in Oscar, the Brazilian media followed, same with Hazard (although we took it as a pinch of salt until the french paper released the details of the move), Van Persie to united... i can keep on going.
  9. He knows his stuff, this is getting interesting. Although, normally the English papers are the first to break the news.. seems a bit weird they're so slow.
  10. Oh Fuck off, alright that's a tad harsh... But come on, first you were saying Luiz hasn't made a mistake since coming here (something along those lines) and now this, he only had two shots on target and 16 touches of the ball, at least Mata was trying to get into the box and score.
  11. They're friends, plus he does overrate Spanish players and the La Liga.. so this doesn't surprise me.
  12. I wouldn't mind having Pep here, I know it's a huge risk but i think he will get the best out of the like of Hazard, Oscar, Romeu etc.
  13. Look booing one of your own players is not on... it just fucking isn't, no matter how shit Torres is you don't boo. I know Drogba was booed, again it's wrong.. but the difference is Drogba was able to stop diving, as sad as it sounds Torres cant help being shit, he's just not the same player he was. Look i know we're all angry but don't you think he knows he's playing shit? i have no fucking idea why Roman and the board insist on keeping him here.. but it's not his fault for wanting to stay at Chelsea. Anyway, i'm not sticking up for Torres, tonight was the final straw for me as well, i'm just sick of our fans booing our players. I have a feeling this will be his last year at the club.. at least then we can all celebrate., even if we haven't won a trophy.
  14. Good first half i thought, not really effective in the second half... but i have to admit he was 10x better than Ramires, who's got a touch of a rapist.
  15. What must he be thinking? Rafa hardly ever plays him and when he does he starts on the right... deary me.
  16. He's poor we get that, but booing him when he gets subbed is not right, we as fans are better than that.
  17. I think it was a close call, not totally sure it was offside. I don't think it was a penalty but it wasn't a dive either.
  18. He waited till the 80th minute to sub Torres... unbelievable, he touched the ball roughly 16 times, only had two shoots, we were basically playing with 10 men. It was similar to the QPR match, we all said bring Mata on in the second half, but what does he do? wait till the 75th minute..
  19. Swansea's MOTM, two great assists. To be fair if it was Luiz we all would be slating him, you can blame Torres (he was shit) or Rafa (subs made too late) but at the end of the day Ivanovic was the one who gifted them two goals... I still think this tie is far from over.
  20. Just a guy looking for more followers.
  21. La Liga Guillem Balague Beñat and Chelsea Lots of rumours of a supposed interest of Chelsea for Beñat. His buy out clause is 20 million euros and Betis do not want to reduce a single penny of it as it will take them out of the pre-bankrupcy state they are in (they are in the hands of administrators). Wolfsburg tried to sign him in the summer but their offer was not accepted as it didn't reach the buy out clause I am convinced he can go for around 12-15 millions euros. The truth is that no offer has arrived from Chelsea and they have not approached the player. Sometimes a rumour about a possible interest comes from the club itself, it is a way of a saying he is for sale, and other clubs are interested.. so you better keep moving if you want him. Something like that is happening. Athletic Bilbao have shown interest but are not willing to pay his buy out clause Beñat reminds me of Arteta and he would add a lot to a club like Everton, even Swansea, Spurs... His talent distributing the ball from the centre of midfield makes up for his slight physique. So no contact from Chelsea yet. Early days for the transfer window and I am sure we will hear more on this story in the next few days
  22. Here's the L'Equipe page. http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Fellaini-vers-chelsea/341014 Foot - Transfers:Fellaini to Chelsea Fellaini should leave Everton. To move to Chelsea or MU? (Reuters) Frank Lampard on the start looking for a Chelsea midfield. It could be Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian international is expected to sign 25 years in five European champion in the week. The player, who bring in 27 million to Everton, would gain five million euros monthly. Manchester United dream yet to match the supply of Blues to win the piece. (Some bits don't make sense, shitty translator, also i assume the five million euros monthly is an error or false)
