  1. Just a player who came to Chelsea far passed it (i.e. Sheva), but the class was there on occasion.
  2. Lamps' second goal was amazing. As was Drogba's touch in setting up Kalou's header.
  3. Missed the match today, looking forward to the highlights tonight but WHAT a result. Great to see the boys bounce back like this. UP THE CHELS!
  4. The belief is always there.. UP THE CHELS!
  5. I'll take the question of the "end of Chelsea as we know it" in a broader scope. Assuming Uncle Roman isn't going anywhere, which I doubt he will. I do think this is the beginning of Chelsea as we've known it for the past handful of seasons i.e. a move away from 'Mourinho's Chelsea'. I see Chelsea staying competitive (of course), but still in a period of transition from the 'old' guard and the influence of newer and/or younger people. But as far as Roman bailing on the Chels A) GOD I HOPE NOT & I just don't see it happening just yet. Just easy paper fodder.
  6. It's amazing how much Chelsea miss him. I personally don't rate Mikel AT ALL, but even looking past that -- he's just the linchpin that keeps the Chels running on all cylinders. It'll be GREAT to see him back.
  7. JT has been on the decline for a minute. But that's just how it goes, yesterday was just dumb play from Terry. I don't even think it lost the game for Chelsea. Yes the first goal was solely on Terry, but 1-0 down is a very winnable game going into the second half. If anything was shown to be completely useless yesterday it was something most have known for a while, Ferreira isn't/hasn't been Chelsea quality and Gareth Bale beating him like a rented mule for the 2nd goal yesterday just proved it. But to stay on topic, Terry isn't what Terry has been. And he most likely never be how great he was. But yesterday, to me, was more down to just dumb play rather than due to his diminishing skills.
  8. THE most frustrating game this season for me. Especially when the stakes are what they were. A shit performance all around. No excuse me while I don't talk about this one anymore and start looking towards next week.
  9. Shoots when he should pass. Passes when he should shoot. That's just how it goes... I personally don't rate him as high as others. The good doesn't out way the bad (just like Mikel for me).
  10. Chelsea wearing blue @ Wembley is just how things should be.
  11. I agree, Rooney has been the lifeline for United this season. And no doubt the English get preferential treatment, but that's the way it goes. But honestly the award means nothing, I mean Ryan Giggs got it last season for christ sake..
  12. HUGE game. Hopefully Spuds will have a hangover from beating Arsenal. Let's just call it 2-0 to the Chels!
  13. I don't hate CFCnet, but it just seems like everyone there is more centered on an argument than a discussion. Maybe that's just me.
  14. I went with Malouda -- Ashley would have gotten it if he didn't get hurt.
  15. Love 'em... didn't buy this seasons kit, but I will be buying this.
  16. We need to get control of the match.
  17. Shoots when he should pass thats Kalou.
  18. Look at Kalou trying to be useful.
  19. Pffffffft... that's Ivan Drago
