I like it, I like it, I like it. The thing I like about it most is that it's over with.

Yes Ribery is a great player. But that £31m could go to a better place.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go? It’s only been a few weeks, but I miss the Premiership. Yes, the European Championships are about to start up. But see, I’m not European. And unlike many (and I mean many) American footy fans, my international allegiance lies solely with the you.S.. Will I watch the Euros? Hell yea, it’s the second biggest international tournament in the sport, and the football should be excellent. But I won’t have a rooting interest. I could give two shits who wins the championship. I have that vested, obsessed void that always seems to come around with the start of June. I miss the week in and week out roller coaster that is the Premier League. True it’ll be back before any of us know it and right back to the grind. But until then, all we have are rumors. And while rumors are pretty entertaining, they wear me thin and tend to do nothing but just get me annoyed by the sheer ridiculousness of them. Mourinho has taken over at Inter. SHOCKER. And here is another bomb — he’s thinking about bringing in players from Chelsea! You’re mind not completely blown? Well this should do it: Some will actually go! I know, this is the type of groundbreaking analysis you can only find he at The Shed End. Players that are the most linked with a move to Inter (and my corresponding thoughts about them possibly going): Frank Lampard: Frank for many people is the face of Chelsea Football Club. And to see him go would be just like seeing John Terry go. I personally do not share this sentiment. Frank Lampard is a brilliant player, and has been a key cog in the Chelsea machine. But he is not irreplaceable. Seeing him go would be sad, but not catastrophic. And the fact that a certain Mr. Ballack has come on so nicely would make this move a little more tolerable as well. Didier Drogba: After that bullshit that Drogs pulled at the Champions League final, he cannot get out of London fast enough. Yes he is a top striker, a match up nightmare, and all those nice things. But he is also one of the more selfish footballers I’ve seen, which says a lot because there are quite a few. I have absolutely NO doubt that Drogba will end up at Inter next season, all I hope is that Chelsea gets every penny they can for him. Michael Essien: Speaking of key players, and not so key players. I don’t think I can overemphasize this: Losing Michael Essien would be that catastrophic loss that I just was talking about. The thing about Essien is that Chelsea NEED to stop using his versatility against him. Just because he can just about play anywhere doesn’t mean you do just that. Let Essien control that midfield and bomb forward like we’ve seen him do countless times. Essien might just be the most important Chelsea player, and one they couldn’t lose. Essien or… Ricardo Carvalho: Well, I did just say Essien was the most important Chelsea player… how about 1a. and 1b., because Carvalho’s valuable is immense. And the sad fact of the matter is that this situation is the one I’m most unsure about. On the surface it makes PERFECT sense for him to follow his former coach and fellow countrymen over to Italy, but another part of me says that Rickey is gonna stay at Chelsea and genuinely loves Chelsea. I won’t lie though, this one scares me. Who will stay and who will go, that is the “fun” of the summer transfer window. But I fully expect more changes than some fans might like to see.

The oh so charming southern accent. I promise I'm more intelligent than my accent leads on.

The Manager. Only thing I care about it the amount of time the new manager has to do what he'd like to do this transfer window.

I can actually talk about it now... A Fews Days Off.

Gutted.

That first half was absolute bullshit. Chelsea better come better in the second or United WILL win this match. At the half…

Super Frank Lampard... I LOVE YOU!

2008 UEFA Champions League Final I’m calling for a 2-1 win for the Chels. I have no doubt I’ll be lambasting this blog come half time. But until them, c’mon Chelsea fans, show your love for your boys! Who’s going to win it? Who’s gonna be the scorers?

2 pm EST, I'll be leaving work. Should get home just in time for the pre match coverage

One more day. One more day before the biggest game in the history of Chelsea Football Club. I’m not going to go into everything I WANT to today, I’ll save that for tomorrow morning and afternoon before the game starts (which is 2PM my time, so you know). But just know, I have my Chelsea strip cleaned and primed. I have my case of beer. And I have the highest expectations possible for this game — C’Mon CHELS!

Carvalho expects plenty of Chelsea exits after Champions League final
Jon replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Carvalho’s Future at Chelsea This summer will be one of transition for Chelsea. By all accounts money will be spent. There will be quite a few acquisitions and with that comes the fact that quite a few of the boys will be gone. In my opinion there are only a handful of players whom Chelsea should go that extra mile to try and keep at the club. Those being John Terry, Michael Essien, Petr Cech and Ricardo Carvalho. This doesn’t mean that Lampard, Ballack, Drogba, Joe Cole and the like aren’t important to the club, because they are. But for Chelsea, those 4 standout to me. Whether it be for passion and club persona (Terry), brilliance and versatility (Essien), being the best keeper in the world (Cech), or just being a rock in defense (Carvalho). -
Arrested Development was an amazingly funny show.

Not one of my personal favorites, but my wife loves it.

I hate it for you. Losing a pet is TERRIBLE!

Why would they? He and Gerrard are the only thing they have, not to mention the scousers would riot if the club sent him to Chelsea.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Bosingwa acquisition. I need to read more about him and how folks rate him. Chelsea News: 5/12/08

United might be Champs… … but it’s still better being a Chelsea fan. I can openly admit that I hate Manchester United. I hate Alex Ferguson and find him to be the biggest whiner in the game of football. I hate Wayne Rooney and the long leash he is allowed by the refs, and his bullshit temper. I hate that flopping piece of work Ronaldo. I hate the whole gang, but I respect them as well.

Chelsea v Bolton Wanderers: Preview Early preview this week. Because just as my luck would have it, tomorrow (the 9th) is my wife’s birthday. And with this glorious event comes to the need for me to leave the comfort of my own home and go away for the weekend. Which means leaving my television, and not being able to watch the match until Sunday night when I get back. Lucky guy ain’t I?

Messi, Ribery, Ramos - Oh my. Get ready for this summer... it should be a pretty damn interesting one.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtm...8/sfnwin108.xml Chelsea have started making transfer plans for the summer with a back-up goalkeeper, right-back, left-winger and centre-forward heading the shopping list. Lionel Messi is not on the list as Chelsea do not believe he would leave Barcelona, but they are interested in Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery.

Zola, Eidur, Wisey, Crespo (I loved having him at Chelsea)
